Popular Post snoop1130 Posted April 24, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 24, 2024 Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong has stood firm against a recent petition asking the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to investigate the ministry's alleged misconduct relating to Thaksin Shinawatra's release from the hospital and parole. Police Colonel Tawee stressed the ministry's adherence to regulations on prisoner treatment outside jail and the eligibility for parole. However, he recognized the public's right to petition the NACC if they suspect any misconduct. This was in response to the latest appeal made by groups led by Thai Pakdee Party leader Warong Dechgitvigrom. The petition was accompanied by a confidential document. Dr. Warong contends this document contains findings from an unofficial investigation by the Ombudsman into the ministry’s actions. Despite being initially rejected, the Ombudsman undertook an informal investigation, revealing inconsistencies in Thaksin’s transfer to the Police General Hospital last August, according to Dr. Warong. Dr. Warong challenged the department's claim that Thaksin’s health condition justified his parole, citing regulations that require an irreversible health condition, a condition which Thaksin allegedly did not meet. In defense, the department outlined Thaksin’s deteriorating health condition as assessed by medical professionals. This was reported by the Bangkok Post. The department insisted that all its actions, from Thaksin's transfer to the hospital to his early release, were legal and justified. How about the rest of it like not spending one second in a cell and pretty much going straight to the police hospital where no contact to verify his condition was allowed. The release, pardon and parole are just other factors in this whole corrupt episode. Having said this not one person in Thailand would be suprised by the outcome. This was all part of the deal to bring him back, corrupt a democratic election by denying the rightful winners office by the use of the junta's non-elected senate and then make a coalition with the military elite. 1 2 4 6
candide Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 Knowing the origin of Thaksin's return and the political stance of the Thai Pakdee party, it seems quite strange....
Popular Post connda Posted April 24, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 24, 2024 I'd like to see some serious investigative reporting that shows all of the peasants. plebs, commoners average "elderly" incarcerated Thai citizens who are at this exact moment currently being treated exactly as billionaire, connected, frail near-death's door Tottering Tony in his "deteriorating health" was treated - ie, removed from Gen-Pop and placed in a penthouse conditions in a "prison" hospital. And given the current pictures with Srettha during Songkran, Tottering Tony seems to be the picture of a healthy and vibrant recovery. Buddha Be Praised. 🙏🙏🙏 Sadhu sadhu sadhu Instead what will the peasants. plebs, commoners be fed? 🐂💩 Mushroom food. 2 3 2 1 1 4

Popular Post Bangkok Barry Posted April 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 25, 2024 Why is this farce still in the news. No-one, no-one at all, believes that Thaksin was so sick that he had to spend months in hospital. And he isn't the first. A politician lower down the ladder than ex-PM had exactly the same treatment several years ago. One day in jail and off to a hospital suite. Perfectly normal in Third World countries. 3

Thumbs Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 All these past governments both military and civilian keep spouting that the Thai justice system is fair and everyone receives equal treatment, ok let the people making the complaint have free access to the prison system and compare the treatment that Thaksin received against a poor incarcerated convict…… then tell us it was fair 1
OneMoreFarang Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Just keep Yingluck a couple of years longer in jail if she returns to Thailand. After all, he told us that she is his clone. 1
AustinRacing Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Taksin has to stop sharing daughter’s hair dye. Surely he can afford to buy his own.
Aussie999 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I just do not read any do these articles so sick of their BS, I go straight to comments just for a laugh. 1
spidermike007 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong, you are guilty as the day is long, there is nothing you can say to us, there is nothing you can say to the Thai people that will convince more than a handful of people otherwise. We all realize this was a quid pro quo between the army and PT, to steal the election from Pita and the people, allow Thaksin to return, and provide him with guarantees that he would never serve time in prison. This deal was filthy, you are a morally bankrupt and complicit man, and you are guilty as charged. You and your cronies have no honor, sir.
Mavideol Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 minister denies/refutes 555 ..... did anybody expected a different answer, not me 1
off road pat Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 And if people are shocked by this !??, wait until Yingluk comes back !!!

But not enough to justify months in hospital, only for him to walk out smiling smirking just as his 'term' was up. Very convenient for him, that. 1
