Ah....Camden or Parramatta 1999....can't quite remember the exact spot. Still in my mid 20s after ordering a schooner of VB I was a bit hungry and went to McDonald's across the street. I check out the menu and proudly bark....THE LOT. My Aussie wife looks at me....."are you sure you dag"?  Why not....it's McDonald's, what would go wrong?

A projectile vomit soon followed.

Besides that I enjoyed my trip to Australia quite a bit.

i don't bother with fish and chips anymore, it will never match back in the UK plus it's full of fat anyway so best avoided

Quite, it all went to pot when the market was flooded with cheap Vietnamese catfish using fancy names.

You Mexicans are a strange lot.

Cakes, I love cakes, all types.

I enjoy eating cakes when drinking my coffee but I would not enjoy eating a potato cake with my coffee.

Do you sprinkle some sugar or add a little syrup to your potato cakes?.

Didnt know Mexicans ate shark, you're a funny guy, like-Pad Thai is to Thais the good old Patato cake is to us Australians from Melbourne Victoria, you ask for a scallop there and you get this small battered White Sea food thingo, use to like them once but went off them after a time, im from the days of adding vinegar with the sea salt, but these days I dont mind chicken salt, unfortunately my kids and that generations like tomato sauce which is known as ketchup in other parts of the world, tomato sauce is not to be confused with pasta sauce....

As you can tell we southern Australians adapted to the English fish and chips, tried the cod here in a Pattaya fish and chip shop, if that's all I could get I wouldn't bother and there chips where more like a poor quality home made type, but hey that's me, im rather fond of gummy shark and chips from Melbourne...

100% correct.

Off topic:

-Buster's in Bangkok hits the mark.

-My wife was in London recently and never had it before. Hobson's in Soho really rang the bell for her.

In Bangkok ... DEFINITELY!

In Chonburi, where we're now living ... I really don't KNOW!

If you've a mind to cook them, then you'll find what you want, in Villa Market.

Deep fried fish ? Deep fried fries as to my knowledge, chips are not boiled !!!....not to mention that delicious white mayo sauce....the best diet to feed dangerous heart problems with age and enjoy Thailand only on a 30day visa waiver.
