Not good, Elon
Tesla went down a blind alley with vision based automation. LIDAR is the only technology that works effectively. I suspect governments will mandate LIDAR before certifying self-driving technology. I remember reading Elon had a spat with the owner of the LIDAR technology and made his vision based approach on emotion. Emotion will be his downfall. -

It is a lot more complicated than that, biologically. It involves something called the SRY gene, which is usually located on the Y chromosome but can move. So, sometimes it can be found on an X-chromosome; if on the X-chromosome, the individual will appread phenotypically male but be XX. Then there are hormone interactions, which involve testosterone & the protein molecular receptor for the testoterone, if there is a mutation on either then the individual who is XY will appear phenoypically female even if genetically XY. You can also get XXY individuals, and other variations which are not so common. This is an enormously simplified view .......in others words it is a lot more complicated. Read up about it. Even wikipedia has sufficient information to get a general picture of some of the complexity involved.
