Wasn't there some kind of app that can be used to make it difficult for third parties to make abuse of the first page of a passport, the one with the bio data?

I have been looking on Google Play Store but couldn't find anything.

Hmm, I haven't heard of an app specifically for that purpose, but it sounds like a great idea! Protecting biodata on passports is crucial. Maybe reaching out to identity validation service or passport authorities could provide some guidance on ensuring your information stays secure. Worth exploring further!

You have to, literally, run a device across the passport to read the chip (btw, in US and some other passports, it's embedded in the back cover.   What scenario concerns you?

Not quite sure what or why your trying to protect the biodata page or who you trying to protect it from? You have control of your physical PP.
