Biden's Polling Puzzle Is He In Denial?

Actually Trump won both white voters AND male voters in 2020. Now, he is making gains in hispanic and black voters- traditional Democratic constituencies. Independents are also souring on Biden.

Lots of Americans are looking at the simple question, "are you better off now or when Trump was President?" and answering "Trump".

Biden is not, and never has been, a statesman of any kind.

I can remember the body bag shortage 4 years ago.

What are you babbling about, and what is the connection to the topic of Biden and polling?

I can think of a few hundred thousand Americans who would give you an answer that you wouldn't like, but they're dead from COVID.

True. Although more died from Covid during the Biden presidency than under Trump.

You mean after Trump fumbled the response and let COVID get out of control.

Like the economy and Afghanistan, Trump made the mess, and Biden had to clean it up.

As for Afghanistan, all Americans will remember is Biden checking his watch as 13 dead service members are brought back from Kabul, and billions of dollars in weapons left behind for the Taliban.

Amazing that he could be trailing Trump, who makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W. look smart and articulate. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws - he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: 'My God… what… have… I… created?

17 of his businesses have failed in the past few  decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!.

Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts.

There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O.

A guy who kisses Putin's @rse ( Helsinki ) and exchanges "beautiful" letters with a North Korean doesn't strike me as any kind of statesman.

What kind of statesman claims immigrants are poisoning the blood of America?

Only if you read Faux News. But yes. A total disaster under trump's watch.

Biden has 300 staff across 9 states. Trump has jettisoned RNC staffers, the campaign is basically broke.

Trump doesn't need a campaign. He's on the news every night in his court cases. With 90 to go he's never going to be off the news. The MSM are his campaign.

He has his past record to go on, while Biden has the present border fiasco, inflation, rebellion by Ivy League university students and a couple of wars in which he is neck deep.

Short of Trump doing something really crazy, Biden is in trouble.

How so? Trump didn't start it, didn't run it and tried to end it. Sounds like BS to me.

You keep trotting out all that history as if it made any difference. No one cares about that except posters whining about Trump.

Voters care about what is happening now, and after 3 years of Biden now is a disaster.

Instead of constantly harping on about the past, you should be asking why the Dems are putting up such a completely rubbish candidate that even Trump is doing better against, despite all his faults. Don't the Dems have ANYONE better to put up?

Thanks for the TDS whataboutism.  I would say a president who avoids war and encourages peace is a statesman.

And what kind of statesman allows 10 million people to enter his country (and spends $66 billion on them) with no consideration for his own citizens?

Aberration? Those numbers started under Obama in his second term, and were improved by Trump.

You might want to talk to the Gold Star families about that. The ones who SAW Biden checking his watch as their dead children were wheeled past him.

Trump is an appeaser, like Chamberlain before him. He'd rather allow Putin to exterminate Ukrainians than support democracy. He also gave Kim legitimacy. Statesman my aching @rse.

TDS is what poorly educated people donating money to a self-proclaimed billionaire have. How much have you contributed?

Wonderful sentiment, except that Ukraine really isn't too much of a democracy.  Full of corruption, political bullying, only rated a "partly free" country by Freedom House.

And like it or not, Kim IS legitimate. At least as legitimate as any other strongman type leader- Xi in China for example.  Biden gives Xi legitimacy. What's the difference?  At least they were talking. As Churchill said, "jaw jaw is better than war war".

You think Putin is going to stop at Ukraine if he wins there? He won't stop until Germany is divided again. He is on record as saying he wants the USSR restored to its former glory.

You haven't answered my question - is your TDS sufficiently advanced for you to be putting your money where your mouth is?

If you think Ukraine has democracy, IMO you should seek psychiatric help.

If you are so worried about wars are you demonstrating in support of Sudanese civilians or the tribes of Burma. The war in Ukraine is no more the business of the US/ EU than they are.

Either you believe propaganda, or you are not aware that NATO has nuclear weapons and Germany is part of NATO.

BTW Germany wasn't part of the USSR. Do try and keep up.
