A good thing, both sois too narrow for two way traffic

As is the majority of Sois in Pattaya.

But this has more to do with Soi Buakhao becoming one way, than Soi Diana Inn and Soi Honey Inn.

Soi Honey Inn

Soi Honey is an extreme case.

If two big vehicles meet it's a spectacle.

Such a narrow path in a busy area should have never been a two way.

Soi Diana was not that bad in the past.

But since they build this aesthetic masterpiece of a wall bordering The Edge condo it has become really bad. Again bigger vehicles can hardly pass there.

Soi Diana is actually worse further up towards the bars, you have food sellers, when i walk I'm fair bit over in the road, dangerous at night for sure, hence why they are changing it

When will the one-way Buakhao happen? Have details about the traffic arrangement somewhere?

Soi Honey doesn't matter, it's dead. Nobody walks there or drives there.

But Soi Diana was always dangerous as hell. On one side high concrete wall, on other bar seats that are right next to road with no barrier. Road wide enough for one car. And two way traffic with people walking it the road.

I walk/taxi Soi Honey almost every week.  It's always a trafffic/pedestrian madhouse when I pass through so don't understand the "dead" comment.

Are you dreaming or even in the same city....Soi Honey has cars and people all day long.

Soi Diana is very busy, but cars and people move along ok...been that way for many years.

See? And that's where both of you are completely wrong.

They are desperate to shove a square peg in a round hole and make Soi Bukow one way.....If it is a good idea or not does not matter.....They want it to happen because they want it to happen because they want it to happen...No other reason..

Failure after failure to set this in motion.....

Trust me they have not given up on the idea....

Agree entirely with that. One evening 9pm I walked up from 2nd rd end this high season just gone. I was verbally assaulted from all directions and not because I was suddenly 30 years younger but purely because there was no other sod around lol

It will be better once it's one way, will take a few weeks for you to realise

A friend got knocked down on Buakhao, heard of a guy being killed , probably accidents every day we don't hear about, so sooner the better for one way

Will probably resut in more hurt as people look for oncoming traffic only to be cleaned up by all the bikes going the wrong way...

I suppose it helps to know from which direction the assault is LIKELY to come from. But my experiences on 2nd means it can be more dangerous with motorcycles going the wrong way.
