Car Fire Leads to Traffic Congestion Near South Pattaya's Buffalo Market

A car fire disrupted traffic near the Buffalo Market on Thepprasit Road, South Pattaya yesterday. A black Kia van driven by Patcharaporn Chatmong, 36, caught fire, causing heavy smoke to spread across the road. This incident occurred just after she had dropped off her child at school.

The fire began when the brakes on her four-year-old car failed, causing Patcharaporn to rely on the handbrake. She spotted smoke coming from the engine and quickly abandoned her vehicle, calling for help.

First Class Chief Petty Officer Peeraphat Nopsiri, a technician from the Thai Royal Navy ship HTMS Naresuan, rallied local people to help fight the fire. They utilized chemical fire extinguishers and worked to open the car hood to put out the fire.

Regarding the incident, Patcharaporn shared, "My brakes failed all of a sudden. I had to use the handbrake. When I saw the smoke and fire, I quickly left the car and called for help."

Preliminary investigations by the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation team point to an electrical system error as the cause of the fire. Swift action by bystanders and emergency respondents helped contain the fire, preventing further damage.

But the photo clearly shows a black BMW sedan?

Must have been 2 fires, a Kia and a BMW.............😝

The car doesn't even have Thai plates.  Just another random photo stuck on a news story.

I did not know that this happened....

Until you told me.....

Thank you!

Also: I have a better photo of a CAR FIRE....

Here it is.....

Here are the firemen who risked their lives trying to save the dog inside the burning car:

MIRACULOUSLY....The pooch survived.....

But, he lost his tail, after severe singing.....(not singeing, you will be happy to know)....

In the end, the fireman adopted the dog, whose owner (I forgot to tell you) perished in the blaze.....

After being sent in a MedeVac airlift to one of the best trauma centers for burn treatment, where the owner of the dog finally succumbed, but not before giving birth to triplets, while on life support, aided by a last-minute cesarean section, performed by the doctor who turned out to be her father.

I know this might seem far-fetched...but...

I read about it on TV.....
