Family friendly is a fair description most of the time, Families are welcome and not discouraged from visiting there,  in the same way that "dog freindly" pubs allow dogs in    what are you expecting a creche or maybe some swings and a roundabout?

When drinking, either pay as you go or check your tab each time. Simple way to track the bill.  And don't get so drunk you make an arse of yourself! 

 

The on call security will be rounded up and spoken to... A few wai's and a bit of tea money all will be forgotten.

I think the bad guys in this instance are the security guards. Nothing worse than a security guard who can't contain his aggression, who goes overboard with violence instead of keeping a level head as the job requires.

I do think the authorities will be compelled to engage in some sort of damage control, as UK tabloids and other media probably cover it in detail. A Prefect Renault response is not going to be enough.

The spliced video, which includes CCTV from the bar, does seem to suggest who threw the first punches, as it begins with the genesis of the seeming disagreement and the sudden appearance of the guards, all the way to the first punch.

 

I responded to that fellow not necessarily with proven facts, but an alternative to his apparent beliefs that the guys deserved the beating. The video evidence does not point to them deserving any sort of beating.

 

Unlike the poster to whom I responded, I'm neither condemning the guards nor the customers, but questioning his assertion that the Brits deserved it. Perhaps you will ask him why they deserved it.
