Here's what cult members are trying to do. The hatred and violence starts with these guys.

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/31/tech/threats-doxxing-trump-jurors/index.html

On online forums that have previously been linked to mass shootings, people are threatening violence and attempting to publicly identify the 12 New York jurors who on Thursday decided to convict former President Donald Trump.

The calls for retribution began immediately after the verdict was announced. Experts who track online extremism told CNN the volume of violent rhetoric in the last 24 hours is as high as it was after the FBI’s search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in August 2022.

By your rules, I won't read the link as you told the previous poster.  How do you get a good perspective if you only read what your side preaches?  My dislike for Trump stems from what I have gleaned from info provided by both sides.  You might be surprised - many conservatives  aren't fools.  Your definitely not part of a solution to this mess...

It just pops up first. I've never said all conservatives are fools. Just the ones who fall for the misinformation on dodgy media outlets. And now believe anything from CNN or MSNBC is fake. Drank the kool-aid.

Better?

Your not stating the truth. This might help. Falsifying accounting records is a serious crime.

It is a misdemeanor. No?  Being a fool and doing it multiple times, allowed a biased prosecution to magically transform the small offense  into a felony.  He thought he was too powerful and he found out he can face consequences like the rest of society that  IMO that he looks down upon.

Yes, better 🙂 I'll give it a read.

OK, read the first part and skimmed the rest.  It is not a good article and could be said about all political issues.

"Dozen"

"many"

"some"

Amazing a nation of nearly 400 million has some quacks. What is even more amazing as how some could apply these quacks logic to all Trump supporters.  Hey, I don't get supporting Trump...

I remember a couple of especially vicious and racist anti-Obama (and Michelle Obama) websites from that time.

And of course there was the 24/7 full blast spewing of derogatory remarks by Fox News. And it's affiliates I assume.

and of course there a no news channels websites, fb pages or twitter accounts attacking DT or anyone associated with him?

Thank you. This is a very liberal board; common sense and stable, reasoned debate are often lost here. Many legal scholars decry this farce, and not one thinks it will not be thrown out on appeal. The facts are:

Dem judge (whose daughter works for the Dems),
Dem jury pick from Dem Manhattan,
Dem prosecutor raising a SEVEN-year-old misdemeanour to a felony.
Prime witnesses - a convicted LIAR and a porn star who signed a letter saying Trump was innocent.

It will go to appeal, probably lose and eventually go to SC. It is a very sad day for American justice; in many people's opinion, it is also sad few want to discuss it rationally here, but it is not surprising.

Yes, several reasons to suspect a fit-up, from start to finish.

Hopefully it will be the start of the finish of Biden instead.

I do agree it is horrible - never seen it so divided.

Wow!

I just watched the newly convicted felon's presser he gave yesterday, taking no questions.

Personally, I would have asked about all those criminals just released in the Congo (which he spoke about). WT Ph! How is that related to his whining about finally being convicted? Maybe he's going to ask Judge Merchan to send him to a jail in the Congo?

He told us: Dems are going to raise our taxes 4 times (totally made up, but MAGAs will

buy it) and "they're going to take away your cars". (Seems odd Biden would take away our cars after putting so much effort into highway and bridge repair via the Infrastructure Bill)

He also claimed nothing happened between him and Stormy (I would like to ask his 3rd wife if even she believes that), and then claimed (about the Stormy NDA and payoff), "Everybody has those (NDAs)". I feel so impoverished, not having my fair share of NDAs! Maybe I can buy some at a MAGA store?

It was so unhinged and bizarre of a presser, it makes me look forward to the debate on the 27th.

A good Biden opening statement line might be:

"Hi. I'm Joe Biden. I'm the candidate who doesn't have 34 felony convictions nor $550 million in fines and penalties for business fraud and defamation."

I read about the Congo B.S.

The moron doesn't even know there are 2 countries called "Congo". As usual, he was lying as none of these two countries has released crimi also to send them to the U.S. Of course, the dumb Trumpers will believe it (OK  not all of them 😉).

Didn't even read the link. It's a felony. Shows what's wrong with America. Many aren't getting the facts.

Attacking the judiciary hurts our fragile democracy significantly.

What you stated - "Your not stating the truth. This might help. Falsifying accounting records is a serious crime"

Falsifying the accounting records was a misdemeanor.  The prosecution tied the falsifying to other crimes.  Hence the felony charge.  Questionable tactics but might be justifiable.  I have my doubts but I'm sure you are 100%++++ sure it was justifiable.  Who are the many flip floppers you're referring to?  Interesting and first I have heard of this dynamic.
