You forgot to mention the Islamic world, or do you support the LGBTQIA faction of the same Saudi government that the US is always pandering to?

I didn't forget. Islamic rhetoric is different.

They throw gays off buildings and lock them up. Why don't they get a mention?

Not every post needs to be about everything in the world.

Your Kremlin posts were about just that.

Why does this stupid drivel come out every time we discuss gay marriage?

That question is easily answered by looking at the authors of said drivel.  If Michelin awarded stars for the world's finest drivel we know who'd get them.

There it is again - exactly the lefty thinking - you dont care about Lia Thomas and what she/he did to others - downsides of so many things that came about under the banner of 'gay rights'.

Let me tell you - She/he won National swimming championship events against 'biological females' thereby destroying their years of work and efforts.  She/he was allowed to get changed (full male genitalia on display) in the girl's change rooms, despite their protests. The girl's that protested were told they must accept 'her' in there, because she was accepted as a female competitor, or they would be suspended. What they had to do was change in the toilets with the door closed, and other things to avoid her/him.

I think the point most people are TRYING to point out to you is you are bringing up a different issue to the same sex marriage topic of this post, but more importantly, YOUR point was resolved nearly 2 years ago.

Get a grip.

No they weren't.

I was responding to your extremist anti LGBT rhetoric and pointing out it was both right wing western AND fascist Kremlin. Which is the reason I don't believe that you're a Thai.

Never heard such garbage from a Thai.

Maybe and only just maybe you became a Thai citizen. In that case you should be honest about your background and not play act as if you're speaking for Thais.

You just can't face the fact that Thais find your soulless American culture and fads repulsive. Thankfully, Thailand has checks and balances to prevent vile Western dogma such as the "Pride" castration cult from taking root here like a cancer. Even in the Western world, people are getting sick of it: if people want to do gay sex, fine, but why do we have to celebrate it and mutilate children?

Yeah, you represent Thais.

That's the ticket.

Do you take readers here for morons?

First you attack people who don't agree with you, labelling them as "far right". Then you say that you aren't left wing. Now you don't want to talk about it.

You're so full of it.

I remember you being a rabid lefty Trump hater and all things woke back in 2016.

They say all things change - so you changed?

The source of the poll is Glaad, so I think we can safely throw that one away. 🤣🤣🤣

" sourced by Cint (who has the world’s largest consumer network for digital survey-based research). Data were weighted to ensure results represent the adult 18+ U.S. population."

Now who am I going to believe, Cint or some bloke on the internet? 🙂

Apart from anything else, making Thailand a safe haven for same sex couples is a no brainer economically.

I really can't wait until the first gay foreign guy marries a gay Thai guy and then wants the same path to citizenship that is offered to foreign women married to Thai men plus not being burden with any financial requirements other than contributing to his husband's 20K / month financial requirement his husband will need to meet.

And then the shrieks of horror when the first gay foreign woman marries a gay Thai women and is forced to maintain the 40K/month or 400K in a Thai bank financials in order to "visit her wife during her one year extension of stay - as well as having no path to citizenship.

Yeah baby - that's gonna but interesting to watch!   Stand by!

The foreigners sex doesn't change, so the rules stay the same.

A gay marriage has 2x wives, or 2x husbands.

I wonder when it will occur to Srettha and his merry band of progressives who all are clapping each other on the backs for being so in turn with rainbow liberalism with suddenly the facts smack them in the face?  What are they gonna do?  Tell their citizens that only gay Thais can marry their same sex?  That same sex marriage will not be an option for foreign couples who wish to get married?  I absolutely guarantee, know Thais and their inability to plan into the future, that this hasn't ever crossed their radar yet.  And when it does, they are probably going to make a lot of people very unhappy with the slap-trap way the end up handling the issue because it will not have been thought out.  It will be 100% reactive.  I'm leaning toward that the Thai government will only allow gay Thai citizen to marry other same-sex gay Thai citizens, after which all of this hype that "Thailand will go further than legalising same-sex marriage" will be seen as more of the typical hot-air emanating from government house that ends up being all promises and no delivery.  Why?  The LBGT+ community is global, and as such when Thailand says it's legalizing "same-sex marriage," the global LBGT+ community is going to react, and when those promises are found to be empty bovine excrement, the reaction by the global LBGT+ community will not be pleasant. Imho.

A gay marriage has 2x wives, or 2x husbands.

So 1 foreign wife married to 1 Thai wife - for Immigration purposes - how can the foreign wife stay with her Thai wife?

And 1 foreign husband married to 1 Thai husband - for Immigration purposes - how can the foreign husband stay with his Thai husband?

There are no rules in place at the moment to cover either of these situations, so new rules will need to be developed and put into law.

I'm just saying - I can see the potential for a serious cluster-foxtrot on the horizon here when it comes to Immigration because as it stand, Thai Immigration has two completely different standards for a foreign man married to a Thai woman, and a foreign woman married to a Thai man.
What are they gonna do?

And then - what about transvestites?  Aren't they the "Go Further" of the "Thailand will go further than legalising same-sex marriage?"
