Some of these insecure and inadequate Thai men just can't wait to have a go at farang.

 

In this instance, it looks like the farang had enough.

Farang probably had enough of the passive-aggressive nonsense from the Thai manager and security guards and snapped. 

 

There's definitely previous between them though, as the article alludes to. 

 

The problem is as soon as we do this as foreigners they win.

I wouldn't be so quick to believe them as an authoritative or accurate source considering the circumstances.
