If the funds have been in Thai bank account in your name only for "some time" then proof funds came from abroad should not be required.

2.Yes and not difficult 

3. Non O obtained in Thailand gives 90 day permission of stay. 

 

If you wish to enter visa exempt and obtain a non O (retirement)

First up the guy I replied to is not the OP.

Secondly in previous post from him earlier he is from UK..

His "visa on arrival" is just incorrect term. He meant visa exempt. 

Try to offer advice to OP.
