Not sure what country you're from, but as far as the pound is concerned the only two major resets in the past 20 years were after the global financial crash in 2008, and Brexit in 2016. Thai coups had nothing to do with it, and exchange rates were recovering significantly in the first couple of years after the last coup in 2014.
