Norwegian tourist collapses and dies in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A Norwegian man collapsed and died early Sunday while he was leaving his condominium for a jogging, police said.

The tourist was identified as Tok Arnk Olafsen, 47. He was staying at Thianthong Condominium on Jomthien Soi 7 in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district.

Jaral Trairatree, 52, a security officer of the condominium, told police that the Norwegian man was leaving the condominium for a jogging at 5 am but suddenly collapsed and convulsed.

Jaral said he tried to revive the man but he continued to convulse until his heart stopped beating.

...going for a jogging.

Definately an unhealthy activity. Got to be crazy to even think about it.

I think more people die trying to stay healthy than those that don't (try to stay healthy). Hmmm, I'm almost the same age as he was, guess I'd better not try that. Not to mention the whole "getting up at 5am" thing ! That's about the time I'm getting to bed, not getting out of it !

The article didn't mention if he was a DJ though ? I heard all DJs in Pattaya were Norwegian (or was it all Norwegians are DJs ?). :o
