Ganja has alot of medicinal properties. Name one that alcohol has, and yet it is legal. It should be legal, without any restrictions. 

Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Tony wants it banned again for his own personal reasons relating to his son’s drug abuse. His beloved police also want to get their income back from dealing weed and shaking down people they arrest, including foreign backpackers who will be low hanging fruit because many will not realise it has been decriminalized. 
 

The announcement is already drafted and nothing will stop it, short of Tony waking up dead from one of the many life threatening conditions he claims to have.

And what about Yabba.  Everytime there is a reported story of violence in Thailand allegedly involving cannabis, it probably (90% chance) has involved yabba as well.  Cannabis does not involve emotional violence to the best of my knowledge unless there are some who can provide legitimate case studies from reputable scientific journals not anecdotal hearsay.

I wouldn't bother,    Every single study or piece of research or indeed any "official" information regarding cannabis use has been commissioned or published for one reason and one reason only.

I don’t have much of an input on the matter personally. Smoking anything for any purpose is right out for a multiple stroke/heart attack survivor. If I could buy it with the same ease with which I buy Tramadol OTC at my local pharmacy I would for sure try an ingestable form for neuropathic issues, but so far it is just more complicated than my needs allow.

"Reefer Madness" is alive and kicking,and not just on this forum or amongst the Thai authorities,It is responsible for pretty much every scaremongering report that has ever been commissioned or  published. 

 Personally, having been a regular user for over 40 years I remain somewhat  unconvinced as to its claimed pain relieving properties, as I have never  needed to put that to the test, but In my experience it does little to relieve toothache. 

 Tramadol does indeed relieve pain but I genuinely dread to think of what the consequences of ingesting tramadol,  or even paracetamol, regularly for 40 years would be

Thanks for linking these studies. While they find a m9derate association, they are not conclusive about the direction of association, i.e. it may also be explained by the fact that "bad boys" tend to smoke weed.

“Association” is merely that, not definitive of “causation”.

I suggest that a predisposition towards violent behavior amongst the target demographic may exist independent of marijuana usage. The concomitant use of ganja may well be a further expression of the “bad boy” imagery.
