Ones in a while I fancy Mama Noodles. I know they are not healthy at all. I know the prices in Thailand they cost just a few baht. But being in OZ now and buying them sometimes they are verry expansive. Yes, I do know about import duty and all that, but the freight is minimal and there is no weight in them. Why are they so expansive? 

I know wine is expansive in Thailand, but I guess because alcohol is involved but why noodles? Anybody knows?

Yeah I do not know why noodles are "expansive" given the relatively small packing size.

 

Unless of course your are talking about the absorbtion of water to rehydrate them then they get bigger I guess.

 

Kinda like  tampons expand when they are inserted and start absorbing.

I always thought they weren't expansive enough, need at least 2 packets

If you can afford cask wine, surely you can afford some Mama Noodles to compliment such fine wine.

Then you don't go to the toilet for a week. I suppose you also save on toilet paper and water for the flushing.
