Not sure this is going to "stimulate" the economy, but it might stimulate a few ball sacks.    OK, so, weed bad, but porn, sex toys, casinos, a few meth pills, krathom, alcohol and cigarettes,

Many Thai Twitter users expressed their opinions under the post. Some agreed and cheered Taopiphop on while others opposed his idea, saying it would damage Thailand’s beautiful culture and traditions.

Take a walk down many Sois, and resorts and Thailands culture can be easily seen

And not many are beautiful, either.

Prostitution is fully legal in twenty nations and partially legal in many of the rest. It is completely illegal in a vanishingly smaller number of nations. The stats are easily Googled.

Rather hypocritical of Thai officialdom to pretend it is illegal, IMO, with many a nod and a wink going on behind brown envelopes, etc.

I also find its status peculiar in light of ganja flip flopping.

Just my two baht’s worth as I participate in neither.

This isn't about prostitution but about liberalising the laws on pornography and the sale of sex toys.

And you don’t see any connection?🤣

I thought it did not exist, apart from the sex toy shops that sell them to the bar ladies.never happened like the fights between the ladyboys. thais and phillipines.Make it legal and then try to end it like the weed issue

If there's a white man here who opposes this for some moral or ideological, or any, reason I've certainly seen everything.

I certainly oppose it. I don't see why other men should enjoy themselves while my wife won't let me get involved. It's just not fair.

I think it should be legalised....both for the girls and for the punters. Then let it flourish. I don't avail personally but for the good of mankind offer my opinion.

US porn producers often go to Brazil to shoot porn movies and the Czech Republic is a favorite destination for this too. I am not sure, if it legal in Brazil but I believe it is in the Czech Republic. Costs in those countries are obviously much less than in the US and Western European countries. Small outfits, usually individuals with a camera and tripod, come to Thailand to shoot porn and Thais post their own sex movies on Only Fans.  It makes sense to legalized and develop something that already exists in a small way underground.  Thailand certainly has a lot of movie "talent" that would be happy to earn extra money doing what they doing anyway.  It also has nice locations to film, although not necessarily with action.

If it becomes legal there should be no argument against using perfectly safe & moral services while supporting a fresh new business.

Thanks, I'll try that explanation. It might work.
