Everyone knows what goes on in Pattaya. Pattaya knows it as well and allows it. Profit from it even. They could not stop it if they wanted to. It is so ingrained in Pattayas culture. Perhaps they could raze the city nightlife hotspots but it would not change what happens everywhere else. What they should do instead is promote it for nightlife and have other promotions for family daytime activities. Balance the 2 and the city would double its prosperity. Sex workers have been doing this job since before Jesus (some in Pattaya now look like they have been doing it that long also). Why do they claim it does not happen there and the reports are not real? 

 

Engrained in Pattaya's culture????  Dude, this whole part of the world is not uptight about sex like the west.  They are realistic about it and it has been working since before we Farangs came here to exploit the benefits.  Now, may I suggest all those who are not into the culture of sex here go back to the land of Puritans and enjoy that nightmare called Western life.

Absolutely impossible lies across the board. There is no prostitution, corruption, extortion, overpricing, dual pricing and ripping off everybody left, right and centre!

All this is forbidden by law and hence, of course, it cannot exist anywhere in Thailand in general and in Pattaya in particular. Pattaya is a holiday destination for families and well known for its temples and butterfly farms (pun intended)! 

Legalize prostitution and tax them (for the submarines and the digital cash shortage); how many of all these people live directly and indirectly (supplying food and beverage, hotel operators, utility providers etc.) of an open city? Nobody puts up a temple next to a gogo bar and nobody puts up a gogo bar next to a temple! 

There's so much nonsense in the world right now, and there are so many blazing fools that simply do not know when to keep their mouths shut. These people know where they live, they know what place is all about, they have other options if they find the industry so offensive.

 

I think a lot of these people just like to pretend to be puritans, and pretend to be very moral and very pure, and they just love to rant. Granted some of us like to rant too, but we're not out in the streets trying to distort a reality. That is just what Pattaya is, it is one of the world capitals of the sex industry, it's just that simple. Accept it, it's part of the city that you live in, it's one element of where you live, it may not be your lifestyle, you may not have anything to do with it, you may not profit from it, but this is where you've chosen to live.

 

Deal with it, man up, be a person with a reasonable mind, instead of a blazing nincompoop. It's your choice.

the difference is they don't deny it in vegas, there's no prostitution in pattaya - what !!!

Thats why tourists come to Pattaya for  the bars girls known around  the world as the sin city  capital of the world 

A lot of people depend on the bars ect for their  lively hood

Hmmmmm - seems strange. Almost as strange as not having "Boyztown" (sois 13/3 - 13/4) on the list.

Sheesh, basically from Soi 1 in North Pattaya to Bali Hai and from the Beach to 2nd Road (in most places).

And we won't mention the area in behind the Esso Station on Sukhumvit in North Pattaya.

But as we know - the police have conducted many inspections of the area and no women (or boyz apparently) approached them and offered to have sex with them for money so that means there is no Prostitution in Pattaya !

Will someone please tell me what other reason is there to come to Pattaya? Maybe to take selfies on the beach with the rest of the B girls?
