I have a Non-O visa 90 days (parent of thai child) I had to leave Thailand and I did a Re-Entry Permit on it. I will be back to Thailand in few days - I did this Re-Entry Permit as I think it may help me to avoid a denied entrance in the Kingdom- as I was questioned previously.

There is a questions :

Even being on the re-entry permit of a Non-O visa can the IO deny my entry just because I spent alot of the times before in Thailand/ or because the remaining days is too short and make it to suspect for the eyes of the IO ?

Can it happen the IO propose me to void my Re-Entry permit and give me the visa exemption of 30 days ? But I don't dare to ask it first to the IO. I rather get 6 days and do a land visa run that being sent back to my destination in Europe

As you are aware, you have a visa, so no problem coming back in. As you are also aware, you would be stamped in for the few days remaining on your visa- that said, you can ask the IO for an exempt entry, all they can say is no and stamp you in on your re-entry.

nope you'll get stamped in for how ever many days you have left on your current stamp (the one tied to the re-entry)

Nope they don't do that, if you have a valid re-entry you can come back in on it and get as many days as is left on your stamp

OP, you have a 3 page thread on similar question. Link below.

Don't understand why you obtained a reentry permit.

The io will most likely stamp you in for the few days remaining on your permit.

Don't be surprised if airline at check in asks for onward flight.

Even with a reentry permit.

Then you plan a border bounce?

Did you consider extension from the non O?

He has a valid visa, why would the airline ask for onward travel?

He doesn't have a valid Visa he has a permission of stay protected by his reentry permit.

Has happened to me personally.

I had a multi entry visa to Vietnam with few days validity.

Was flying to Saigon for few days and onward home to Bangkok.

Jetstar dug heels in at check in Melbourne.

Wanted to see my flight out of Vietnam prior to expiry of visa.

Showed flight on cell phone.

Boarding pass issued.
