Lewis Hamilton has been one of several F1 drivers to voice their support for Ralf Schumacher after the former racer came out as gay, with the seven-time world champion hopeful that it will “liberate others to be able to do the same”.

Schumacher – who won six races during his Formula 1 career, having driven for Jordan, Williams and Toyota respectively between 1997 and 2007 – shared a picture of himself and his partner, Etienne, on Instagram earlier this week and added the caption: “The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.”

Actually I watched that a couple of hours ago, they interviewed a few of the drivers including of course Lewis and they all agreed Ralf did the right thing to announce it and show that the whole FI supports him and any others there may be.

Who cares, can he drive is important, will they now have Men instead of girls at celebrations ?
