Why are bus transportation so bad in the South of Thailand?
I took commercial mini-vans twice in Thailand. The first trip was so bad I thought it had to be a fluke. The second one was worse. Big buses and trains for this boy... If I had to travel the roads where no buses go, I either drove myself or hired some co-workers' spouses, who were excellent drivers. -

Would be nice, if they mentioned what year they hope this will take effect and whether the Ung Ing government supports it, since it has to go through parliament. Last year's gift was announced in September and took effect from 1 Jan but that was just the RD chief making a short announcement that the relevant clause in the RD no longer meant what it clearly said. This time it has to go to the Council of State for vetting and pass 3 readings in parliament, unless the government claims it is an emergency, in which case it can be enacted through a Royal Decree, bypassing parliament. Since it is a fairly radical change, my guess is that it would go through parliament but you never know in this country. -

Convenience Store Employee Praised for Preventing Electric Pole Fire from Spreading
Pictures from the scene. A convenience store employee has been praised for his quick actions in extinguishing a fire on an electric pole, preventing it from spreading to nearby areas. The man, who had previously been recognised for burying the body of a monkey killed in a road accident to prevent further incidents. On the morning of September 8, a fire broke out along Sukhumvit Road, on the inbound route to Pattaya near the entrance of Thung Prong Village in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. The fire was caused by a short circuit, which ignited a tangled mess of communication cables attached to an electric pole. No one dared to approach the flames due to the potential danger. However, a man dressed in the uniform of a convenience store employee, later identified as Mr. Jetsada Malirat, 33, the assistant manager of a nearby 7-Eleven branch, stepped forward with a fire extinguisher. Displaying no fear of the dangers involved, he positioned himself under the electric pole and used the extinguisher to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading further. Shortly afterward, firefighters from the Udomsak Subdistrict Municipality arrived and doused the remaining flames. The local electric authority then secured the area and coordinated repairs with the cable companies involved to ensure no further incidents. Mr. Jetsada explained that he was on his way back to the store after making a delivery when he saw the fire. Totally legal way to activate Windows
Anyway, back to information that might actually be helpful to those perusing the thread. Contrary to the assertions of a particular member, the Windows 10/11 digital licence is stored on Microsoft servers and is not nor has ever been connected to your storage drives/hard disks. It is based on IDing your device through six different criteria (that can be found by querying the System Information application on your device). None of which include your hard disk/storage drive. So you can change your storage drive a million times and it will still activate automatically when you connect to the Internet. As long as the Windows edition(Home, Pro etc), motherboard and CPU remain the same, the activation should remain intact. What happens is that when you connect to the Internet, the activation servers check for a Hardware ID that has been previously activated. If so, it passes. What hasn't been mentioned within this thread, is that when you have a Digital Licence, it should work interchangeably for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. In other words, if you have a Digital Licence for Windows 10 Pro, you can clean install Windows 11 Pro and it will activate. You should also be able to dual boot both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro on the same device. In addition, you change change the language and architecture. In other words, if you have Windows 10 Home 32 bit (Thai) activated with a Digital Licence, you can install Windows 10/11 64-bit (English) and it will activate. I hope this is a clear and concise explanation of Windows 10/11 Digital licencing. -
