  • Again ??  !!!  how many more times do they need to dig up the street/road/pavements ?

  • One of the interesting characteristics of Thai people is their incapacity to plan for the future. But why bother planning when every new day presents another opportunity to tear up some perfectly good

I drove down the entirety of beach road and Walking Street  yesterday Sunday 28th July 2024 and saw no roadworks (roadworks means digging up the road)

there may have been some works on the pavement  didn't notice any  but I had to keep my eye's on the road...

(horrible traffic due to the long weekend Bangkokians  who seemingly don't have any malls to visit in Gungthep)

This Sunday 4th August 2024  I saw some road works on beach road

just before ( 100 meters or so) the Walking Street entrance  looks like it was cable work as there where still some overhead cables left in that  last part...they have also removed almost all the overhead cables along South Pttaya road  just a small last stretch around the Tony's gym junction.
