Do You Believe: Next year, and the next, will be HOTTER than 2024?
Cars kill millions but they don't ban cars. Wars kill millions but they will keep having them. Does it really matter if we die of heatstroke or because someone dropped a bomb on us while we were sleeping? Dead is dead. -

Why is Trump Really Running for Office Again?
Blatant propaganda, there was no insurrection and no attempts to murder. The rest of the post is just petty childishness -

Do You Believe: Next year, and the next, will be HOTTER than 2024?
and yet, while you and I know that it's a result of overpopulation, the great and wise never mention it. I guess they want more people to pay more tax for them to waste. -

Labour Minister Stands Firm on 400 Baht Wage Rise Despite Concerns
I can agree with that the wages should go up to 400 baht per day, as that is still very low. However, it can´t be only wages that go up, and the result same, as that would mean the need to cut amount of employees. The big issue is that I see so much problems with people working. They many times come late, and they not work very hard. Many times there are 4-6 people standing talking while 2 of them take down some boxes and so on........ People that want higher salaries also have to work for it. I would never accept people working for me to sit in phone just because have no customers. There are more things to do, than just wait for customers. Many times when I leave my younger daughter to school, some teachers stand to greet the parents and children at the gate in the morning. Also here, they stand with their phones, and hardly recognize the parents and children. I could go on forever. The fact is, that if the companies should be able to give higher salaries, the employees also have to start work and do their job with pride and interest. -

Restore lost Yellow Book
Went to Thalang Police station today, it is right near the Amphoe anyway. Was 2nd in queue for lost documents clerk. Other queue was for fines and payments. When it was my turn 2 guys from Fines queue who just finished paying cut in front of me and were getting a report of some kind. And just when they started getting a report the clerk decided to go outside have a tea break or something. Here we are all sitting waiting doing nothing, 3 more people came and sat behind me. Tick tock tick tock ..... Now I finally got the seat in front of the clerk and again 3 more thais come and cut in front of me) Old lady and 2 grown up kids I suppose, they were asked to read long document in thai on an electronic tablet attached to the computer. Tick tock tick tooooock An eternity later they left saying they need to take a break? ............ They come back to sign but the tablet turned off, the clerk went somewhere again .................. tick tock.............. Clerk returned with a new usb cable I suppose, fixed a mess of cables on his desk, tablet cam alive, they signed. Got my report 5 min later. He forgot to give me my passport back, had to return from the parking lot for it. At home noticed that the house number was wrong. OMG. Can't blame him, it is hard to read, and DLT also messed up my green book. 158/43 -

Last Time Refused Entry Retry Monday
Yes, at CNX it is generally unnecessary. They seem to run an honest entry-point, and no recent bad-reports indicating that has changed. Personally, I would not fly in with a "longer staying" record though - even there. Worst case being denied-entry at a land-border - if something changes just before you get there, which has not yet reported here yet - at least you don't get locked-up. -

Are you HAPPY to be ALIVE?
We posters are an unhappy lot though, so it was doomed before you posted it. Misery loves company. In Saudi my only good days were with a friend moaning about the place, and it's such a <deleted><deleted> that we never ran out of things to moan about. The ONLY thing I miss about it was the money, which was great. All gone now though. -

Rising Wave of Anti-Semitism Sparks Fears of a Dark Future for Jewish Communities
Under scrutiny from the USA ? Is that the same USA that recently spent 20 years bombing Iraq and Afghanistan where about 500 000 people died ? They are the ones scrutinising Israel's actions ?- 1
