Maybe he was born in Canada, for example.

 

I do not trust the guy.

He seems a phony.

His main appeal is to the farmers in the mid-west and to the so-called "salt of the earth".

 

I like people who are intelligent.

As to his record I assume you are referring to his military record. It Is after all what we are talking about are we not?

Ironic that the Marine veteran, who actually served in Iraq, graduated Yale law school, and is happily married with 3 kids is somehow the weird one. I can't figure that out. 

 

Walz was the consolation prize because Shapiro wisely decided to hold his fire and wait for 2028. Plus Kamala's ego wouldn't permit a VP who might overshadow her.  Oh, and he's Jewish, which the radical fringe of the Democratic party would abhor. The GOP breathed a sigh of relief that Shapiro was not picked.

True Shapiro has a brain which both Kamala and Tim lack. Vance is a neutral selection, Tim is -1 or -2.

He got a promotion to that level. As the text says he didn't so the final part of training to officially begin the position as he left. Not like he is saying he's a Brigadier General or something. He served with honour for over 20 years. Calling him a fake soldier is clearly silly.

Master Sergeant is a considerable achievement in itself, tell me who cares whether it is Command Sergeant or Master Sergeant.

 

Except for the military, and nitpickers on ASEAN. NCO's are the backbone of any military, as the Russians are finding out to their cost in Ukraine.
