You have not provided any evidence of Blackrock purchasing large amounts of land in Ukraine. All that you did was put up a link to a Russian government representative making the claim. The other link is to an opinion piece by Bradley Devin. None of what you posted shows that Blackrock has purchased large amounts of land in Ukraine. Where is this purchased land? You do not know. When was the land purchased. You do not know. How was the land purchased. You do not know. In effect all that you have done is either intentionally or unintentionally through ignorance repeated a lie put out by Russia in 2022. Your claim is a variation on the exposed Russian lie that US companies purchased 17 million hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine. When the Russian propagandists released their lie, which ignorant idiots accepted without challenge, the Russians cited their source as an Australian site called Australiannationalreview.com, which does not provide any evidence to prove these claims. According to the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre write StopFake, 0.26 million hectares were sold in Ukraine during the year of operation of the land market. This figure is about 0.8% of the area of agricultural land (32.6 million hectares) entered into the geocadastre. Thus, the data on 17 million hectares operated by Kremlin propagandists is 65 times greater than the area of agricultural land actually sold in Ukraine. It gets better. The Australian publication is operated by Jamie Mcintyre, the self described freedom fighter and entrepreneur. Australians may recall Jamie McIntyre as the real estate promoter whoin 2016 was banned from corporate life and offering financial services for a decade as part of corporate regulator ASIC crackdown on land banking. Nice reliable source you got there. I will ask again. Where is the land that is purchased, you know address, location, region? If you are going to claim lots of land was purchased, then surely you will know where it was done. You are indeed regurgitating a Russian lie. Either you are doing this intentionally as an agent of Russia disinformation, or you have been duped and refuse to admit it. You are a classic example of how conmen like Trump succeed. -

Firstly, you should always have separate Wills for assets in Thailand and in your home Country and each should reference the other, Your legal spouse will always be regarded as the beneficiary in the event of your demise, and a Will can either confirm or change that. Not in the case of Thai spouse, who under Thai ascension law is the automatic beneficiary, unless a Will states otherwise. This as others have confirmed is why Thai banks advise you to withdraw any funds (if you have access) before advising the bank of the death. There are no repercussions in the case of the Thai spouse making those withdrawals, even without a Will, as she is legally entitled to it. I've helped Thai spouses and a Thai carer through this process 4 times in the last two years. -

But just several months back in June 2024, Thailand was reporting a year's peak of 3,000+ new COVID hospitalizations in a week, 16 deaths per week and more than 700 COVID patients hospitalized in serious condition for that week. MoPH Weekly COVID report for the week ending June 29, 2024: Comparing the 2024 COVID peak in Thailand with the comparable mid-year 2023 peak, reported COVID deaths (in dark gray color) were lower in 2024 (and that's good new). But the peak of new weekly COVID hospitalizations (in red color) and the number of COVID patients hospitalized in serious condition (in dark purple color) were both HIGHER in 2024 than in 2023, not lower. In general, certain segments of the Thai establishment have a very vested interest in minimizing anything negative about COVID because, news reports of people being hospitalized and dying from COVID (admittedly largely but not entirely involving the elderly these days) would put a wet blanket on the country's major efforts to restore its tourism activity and revenues. So there's a vested interest here to pretend that it's all just gone away -- even when it hasn't. -

"Imagine" by John Lennon is often considered the best song of the past 100 years. It doesn't get my vote, but it is the opinion of many. In terms of which song has had the most influence in the past 100 years, I would say the U.S. Civil War song "Battle Hymn of the Republic." It had a significant role as both a marching song for Northern troops and an inspirational song for civilians. Lines from the song have been used as the titles of movies and books as well as in speeches. Several of Dr. Martin Luther King's most famous speeches have made reference to or quoted "Battle Hymn of the Republic." King's last publicly spoken words before his assasination were "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord."
