Popular Post snoop1130 Posted August 15, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2024 Pattaya police intensified efforts to crack down on Kuwaiti motorcyclists causing disturbances with loud engines, resulting in numerous motorbike seizures. Officers set up checkpoints to address the complaints from residents distressed by the noise and reckless driving. Police officers in Pattaya yesterday, August 14, led by Navin Teerawit, Sirachat Nootes, and Apinan Boonyarat, conducted a coordinated operation targeting various forms of crime. One primary focus was on Kuwaiti tourists who frequently revved their motorcycle engines and honked their horns, causing significant annoyance to locals in Soi Yensabai, South Pattaya. Residents lodged numerous complaints about the disruptive behaviour of some Middle Eastern tourists, who were often seen revving engines, honking horns, and performing dangerous stunts like wheelies. Some incidents even involved motorcycles skidding and producing thick smoke, creating a hazardous environment. Videos recorded by residents were provided as evidence to the police. The police set up a checkpoint in the middle of the soi and spread their forces at both ends to intercept and inspect foreign tourists, specifically targeting those from the Middle East riding loud motorcycles without helmets. Officers checked identification documents and searched for any illegal items, such as firearms and drugs, although none were found, reported KhaoSod. However, the operation resulted in the seizure of over 20 motorcycles, many of which had been modified with exhaust pipes louder than legally allowed. Some of the motorcycles did not have proper documentation. Initial charges were filed under traffic laws against the riders, and the police plan to summon the owners of the rental businesses for further discussions. But perhaps they did not single out only the foreigner kids. It is possible the news service focused on foreigners to make better headlines. The police though have to do this regularly. This is not a one instance problem with a quick fix. 10 hours ago, Will B Good said: Someone pretty high up the food chain must be having their peace disturbed by these morons. Larger envelopes handed out. Does not take a genius to figure this out. Besides, you also know the RTP in Pattaya don't do anything just from a complaint, unless there is some gain for them. Let's hope that gain was to make arrests and stop these Kuwaiti boys from causing destruction. Hmm 1 1

Popular Post maddermax Posted August 15, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2024 Noticeable that they don’t appear to be doing the same with the Thai motorcycle drivers who have removed the baffles from the motorbike exhaust. Classic case is several in Khao Talo who drive up and down late at night keeping people awake. 1 2

Popular Post scocia Posted August 16, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2024 These noisy motorcycles and cars are all over Pattaya not just in South Pattaya. It’s time the authorities start eradicating this throughout… 4
Popular Post mberbae Posted August 16, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2024 Now if the RTP would also go after the 30% of ALL Thai motorcycle drivers who have No Working tail lights and which are extemely dangerous at night . 1 2 1

rumeaug Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 What's up with Kuwaitis and motorbikes? is that a cultural tradition or what. They also seem to have absolute impunity to that or very fat wallets .
