Is it possible to get health insurance only for inpatients for less than 30,000 baht/year, when you are already 53 years old?

I don't know about less than 30,000 baht...

 

But, I do know that nearly all Health Insurance Companies will provide cover for Inpatient Only treatment. 

 

One I know of is Blue Cross Thailand (I think it is)...  there is info on this forum about them.

 

They have a questionable pay out policy (according to some) but offer lower premiums. 

Pre-existing issues are obviously an issue.....  (but if you have no Thai medical history, thats less of an issue).

 

You may struggle to get premiums down to 30,000 baht without a 'deductible'...
