hi,may i renew my 2 years thai driving licence with 60 days visa exemption.thank
They never check the visa page as far as I could tell, but the certificate of residence is needed (for them that's proof of you are here legally and residing) , but some immigration offices may not accept tourist visa for that, some do.... Not sure about 2 years or 5 years though, but with CoR for sure can renew..., as always depend on the office and day of the week, it's Thailand after all... -

Conservative commentator Piers Morgan disses Trump, says Harris won the debate comfortably
Early post debate polls show Harris up by 5 points. Ipsos is the first poll to show Trump losing support while Harris gains. For the record: post Labor Day is when polls have significance. For our Russian friends, Labor Day was September 2. -

Taylor Swift…This Is Not A Spoof
But it's only the women who listen to what she says. The guys just fantasize about being #44 on the list of her exes. Aren't most of her songs about her poor judgment in men? -

world wide income taxation update
This is a Thaksin policy so the real question is how long Paetongtarn is going to be around. If she does, the policy will most likely go too. -

King of Shaves products in Thailand?
I went with the Remington Durablade, and similar competitive concept. Was going to be Durablade or One Blade. Durablade heads last about 1year, far from the 5 yrs stated. Don't know if I'd recommend, as expensive here/TH. Bought one here, and 2 from USA, and stocked up on shaving heads. Not for the business person, with heavy beard and needs to be clean shaven every day, but I shave every other day or so. -

People’s Party urges urgent rewrite of 2017 constitution
When or if this is done it doesn't matter if the people are involved or not. The status quo which protects and increases the wealth and power of the establishment will remain in place through manipulation and corruption. This will only change when the progressive powers take full power over these corrupt dinosaurs. How or if this happens makes for an interesting and possibly very dangerous future for Thailand. -

world wide income taxation update
There are too many other considerations to be able to give a straight yes no answer to your question. Is the 780,000 per year assessable income is it exempt or a combination thereof? The answer to that question determines how much tax might be paid. Then there's the question of exemptions/deductions. potentially those things could reduce the tax obligation to zero. -

Pigeon Feeding Blamed for Thai Man’s Lung Illness
Pest birds such as pigeons should be periodically culled. Okay, I feed sparrows and mynah birds sometimes, but they don't congregate, they don't bother other people, they don't <deleted> all over the place, and they don't carry diseases harmful to humans. Pigeons and crows are pests and a health danger and should be treated as such. Crows you can at least reason with but I hate pigeons. -

Are you "all in" in your relationship?
Thai Mrs keeps reminding me that my house in UK is her inheritance. She knows if I don't make a will it will go to HM Government. Ideally, she wants me to sell it now. However, I view it as somewhere I can return to if we split up. Also, it would provide me with free accommodation if I ever needed to return to the UK for treatment under the NHS. -

Patong - The Wake
I'm amazed how people get so excited about this, including my close friends. Firstly it's not worldwide income, it's foreign income that's brought into Thailand... (they have zero chance of finding total foreign income) , secondly implementing this will be a hell of a job, imagine banks having to report to tax office and vice a versa, then somebody has to go after them..., there are so many laws in Thailand but hardly any of it is implemented, think of red traffic light, or helmets or buying houses and land under company name or etc. etc. ....! This law was specifically brought in for some rich Thais/Fireigners who are tax registered, and have huge businesses abroad in shady countries that avoid paying millions in tax altogether...., the usual run of the mil retiry living in Thailand brining a few thousand a month for living expenses are not the target... Finally most retirees from western countries already paying tax in their home country with double taxation treaty with Thailand, pay a lot more tax there in fact, so it's totally deductale and they know that too... But it still amazes me that people are so worried about this, and keep brining it up to create drama, it will be decades before they can even get their act together on this... Finally with Wise transfer it's possible to choose a money transfer that looks like coming from a local bank, not abroad...! Let's see how Thai banks can detect that as money coming from abroad... Nothing to worry about this at all, unless for some people with dodgy dealings...!- 1

NHS Faces Critical Crossroads: Reform or Die, Warns Prime Minister
The junk food advertising ban is supposed to reduce child obesity. Two instant flaws there. Kids don't tend to watch TV anymore, so likely dont see the advertisements anyway, and child obesity is down to the parents. It's them that buy the junk food after all.
