Sadly, this kind of thing is not unusual. Luckily, it is not that common. A very good friend of mine had a daughter - aged 12 or 13. Usual story. My friend moved to Bangkok to work, leaving the daughter in the care of her grandmother. The grandmother was caught trying to sell my friend's daughter's virginity. My friend refused to involve the police. She just moved away from her mother, taking the daughter with her. Grandmother was a compulsive gambler. There were more issues after this one but not relevant here. -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
Phuket immigration used to do this (for example they did this when I was on a Type-OA going for an extension based on marriage). After I deliberately let that Type-OA expire (by exiting Thailand without a re-entry permit) and re-entering Visa Exempt to subsequently get a Type-O for reason of retirement, in my subsequent Type-O extension (for reason of retirement), Phuket immigration instead of a home visit, required a video tour with the IO (using the "Line" application), where I had to walk to the front door of my condo (showing myself and my condo door # in same video scene) and then walk to the street by the condo complex sign, and again in same video image show myself with the condo sign. The IO was noting over the phone they were taking screen captures at appropriate times. I don't know the current status of extensions for reason of marriage of the type-OA. Possibly they have stopped doing house visits, and have switched to the "Video" chat like extensions for reason of retirement - and possibly not. Someone who is currently getting extensions for reason of marriage in Phuket will need to answer that - but in the past, the home visits were always required (at least in my case). . -

I am admitting no such thing. HE THOUGHT IT WAS IMPARTIAL, you think it was impartial. I think it was fine. It was the fact that he lost which makes everyone say it was impartial AFTER HE LOSES. If he performed better there would be no such claims.. come on -

Jimmy Kimmel (a late night talk show host), put together a video of two things: all the people and things the debate loser claimed he didn't know anything about (such as former Imperial Wizard of the KKK David Duke, who endorsed the felon, Project 2025, Wikileaks, white supremacists, the Proud Boys, etc.) or things about which the felon claims "Nobody knows more about than me" (e.g., technology, fertilization, banking, ISIS, nukes, wind, ethanol, trade, drones, environmental impact, McDonald's menu). The last one might be true. Now his airplane mate is one Laura Loomer, a bizarre conspiratorialist who is, inter alia, a "Truther" and a racist and bigot who posted about a Harris White House smelling like curry and where the switchboard gets forwarded to a call center in Bangalore. Loomer is one of the main pushers of the Haitian Dog and Cat cookbook, or whatever that nonsense is. When fellow lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene says Loomer is a bad influence, you know the campaign has gone down a deep rabbit hole (no doubt where sits a Haitain immigrant kitchen) -
