Yeah! Bloody Yanks think the won the war all by themselves!

Whether you like them or not, world trade would collapse if America was to withdraw all its warships from the high seas. Piracy would become rampant.

Over 80% of trade takes place by sea. Be careful what you wish for.

If that was the case I would buy a boat and become a pirate.

Millions of uneducated inbreds.

I have never liked Americans, it doesn’t surprise me that Americans don’t like Americans either. There is an angry hatred of each other there.

The world has to find a way to disarm them. They are dangerous. Killed millions of innocent people in Iraq who had no weapons of mass destruction, in Afghanistan hunting a Saudi that was hiding in Pakistan, flattened thousands of villages in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Tough guys when they have the biggest weapons.

Nothing like a good rant to make oneself feel better. That being said, you need to accept the fact that you hold Americans to a much higher standard of behavior than other nationalities who have also killed innocent people. You seem to ignore their homicidal wrongdoings because you believe they don't know any better, whereas you think Americans do.

The crackdown on free speech? Not to be confused with the prosecution of the wilful dissemination and broadcasting of completely false and misleading information I guess. Or the moderation of incitement to violence, racial hatred or other forms of hate speech? Try broadcasting such here. You'll very quickly be taken to task. Does a civilized society not require certain standards of behaviour to be maintained, or is it just back to the jungle, as you seem to suggest, where anything goes?

Not "Anything goes". Personal responsibility, rather than government control and censorship. There is a huge difference.

People like to say free speech does not mean you can scream FIRE! in a crowded theater. But that is EXACTLY what it means. However, you must also accept responsibility for the consequences of your speech. In this case, public endangerment.  You can punish crimes that are the results of speech, but not the speech itself.

Those who think the socialist model of Europe and the Commonwealth countries are superior, are really just relinquishing their rights freedoms so that a central authority decide what privileges they are allowed have back. This model will NEVER fly in America, and indeed many thousands of patriots have given their lives to make sure that it can't happen. Historical America treated its free people as grown ups, not children.

The reason America is in the state it is right now, is that for several generations foreign entities have been using psychology and manipulation to try and get Americans to accept the globalist model of dictatorship and control, but this is incompatible with the core values of the country. And it was always bound to fail. That is what MAGA is all about. It is eviscerating the influence of the globalist criminal syndicate from American institutions, and getting America back to its core principles. This is a messy struggle, as it has been infused with so much corruption from foreign powers intent on destroying and subjugating the country. But it's clear that the final push is now ready. And once exposed, the globalist tyrants who tried to enslave humanity and America will be exposed, leading to a new age of enlightenment not just in America, but across the world. The victory in America will spread to the European Bloc and the Commonwealth, providing a shining example of what genuine freedom looks like.

There are many who fear this because they've been controlled and manipulated for so long. They don't know how to think independently any more. But over time everyone will understand. There may still be minor skirmishes, but global wars don't start when people, not power drunk tyrants, are allowed to make the decisions.

Free speech....truly free, unfettered, critical speech, not the limited version of this allowed by central authorities in Europe...is the keystone that makes all of this possible.

You act like this is a bad thing.

Damn skippy Americans have the right to own machine guns. They also have the duty to use them only in a responsible manner.  If an individual starts using them irresponsibly, THEN you can rally the troops and the whole country will support removing them from that specific individual.

Sounds like you just hate the 2nd Amendment and believe your values are superior to everyone else and those patriots who died to give you your freedoms.  The Founding Fathers put that in the Bill of Rights for a reason. And the fact that it is second only surpassed by freedom of speech tells you how important it is.

The US is a divided nation, driven a lot by dodgy politicians and fake news right wing media outlets. The latter proven by the fact many on the right still fall for the big lie, started by the divider in chief, Trump.

One reason I won't move back. Sucks.

Both halves of the Uniparty media do the same thing.  The system would not work, if they did not both do this.  Americans HATE most of what both parties support, serving the Billionaire class who are strip-mining the middle-class (both the Left AND Right in-tandem) - so how to keep them from opposing those in power?  Bingo.

Nope just providing the facts that you continually ignore and deflect from. We won't even consider talk about inflation under Trump.

No, the corporations would just have to pay for their own protection in international-waters, instead of bankrupting the USA-Gov / people to get it.

The same goes with all the wars that have NO benefit to American people - a "free" overseas-asset protection racket for the same companies destroying our country with trade/outsourcing policy, and flooding our labor-market to systematically drive every USA-career into a "hand to mouth" existence.

Note that the USN and Air-Force wasn't able to do much with the Yemen / Red Sea situation, recently.  Naval warships / aircraft-carriers are becoming increasingly irrelevant - just big, expensive, floating-targets.

What do you think that would do to the cost of any imported goods?

I have no problem with the proposition venal politicians outsourced American jobs. Back in the day, America produced some of the best durable goods on the planet.

1) Corporations would be more efficient about it, as it is "corporate bottom-line" money which would be spent - so would be a small fraction of the corrupt contract system which US-Gov uses.
2) Any cost increase would, therefore, be offset by a multiple-larger decrease in govt-spending, thus lowering inflation and tax-burdens.
3) It would NOT be bad AT ALL if more manufacturing returned to local production.  We had tariffs until the ~1990s which ensured this to a much greater extent than what I propose, and had a much higher standard of living at that time.

Keep in mind, the policies from PRIOR years causes inflation in LATER years.

IOW, be sure to factor in Nixon pulling the gold-peg from the USD, and the Johnson/Nixon war spending, with regard to what happened under Jimmy Carter.

Also see Paul Volker's sky-high interest rate policy, to try to bring the inflation back down, after that - taking effect part-way through Reagan's years.

it is a mistake - often made - to look at where we were in an economic-cycle WHEN a president was in office, and give them "credit" or "blame" for what transpired.  Their policies may have some short-term effect, of course, but it's not that simple.

Do not misconstrue this as a defense of the policies of any of them, however.

Actually, the US Government is a world leader in selling armaments to other countries. Just recently, they graduated to selling nuclear submarines. I guess aircraft carriers are next.

No disagreement whatsoever with #3, it's what most countries are trying to do after COVID exposed the weaknesses in globalisation.

Reagan halved the rate. Not a bad effort. Biden tripled it. The time lag effect rolls over each term but they can change policies, cut spending. Biden is the biggest clown since Nixon.

I can see you need a little education.

Your military is good. So is ours. The Indonesians found  out in East Timor we were not to be messed with.

We are healthier than you. Your average life expectancy is 77.5 years. Ours is 83.9.

We are better at sports than you. America was the leading gold medal winner at the Paris Olympics. 40 gold medals.

Australia won 18 gold medals. Your population is 330 million. Ours is 26 million. Simple math says wiping the floor with you is an understatement.

I do have other examples of where we are better than you, but I don't want to humiliate you unnecessarily.

The proceeds from such sales do not go to the USA-taxpayer.  Corruption in what Eisenhower termed the "Military Industrial Complex" is a problem - as with other Federal agencies.
