The long-awaited report on the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden only further proved that Republicans don't have the votes to recommend removing the president.

If Republicans don't head to the House floor wit impeachment, it will mark the frst formal presidential impeachment inquiry in modern times that hasn't ended in a vote, except for Richard Nixon, who resigned before the vote could happen. But it's a reality that a growing swath of the conference has appeared poised to accept as investigators look for other potential off-ramps.

But investigators struggled to find clear evidence that shows a direct link between actions Biden took as president or vice president and those business deals or that Biden committed a crime.

The GOP's impeachment effort against Joe Biden seems to have fizzled out. Despite the lengthy report, they couldn't find enough evidence to recommend removing the president. It's clear that this was a politically motivated move to discredit Biden, rather than a genuine inquiry.
