Let's not forget, or leave out the details.

17 of his businesses have failed in the past few  decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!. Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts.

There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O.

Promises made but never kept:

Every voter needs to be reminded of Trump's promises last time he was running:

There is very little that comes out of Donald's mouth that is the truth.....

He promised to cut the deficit. He added $8T.

He promised to build a wall. He only did 458 miles out of 2,000. Most of it was repair or replacement, not new.

He promised to make Mexico pay. They didn't. We did.

He promised to unveil a new healthcare plan. It didn't exist.

He promised a middle-class tax cut. He cut taxes for the rich. The middle class is paying for it.

He said he wouldn't play golf as President. He made 250 visits (way more than Obama) to his own golf clubs. It cost taxpayers $150 million.

He said he'd increase economic growth by 4%. Nope. Biden did.

He promised an infrastructure plan. He had none. President Biden signed a massive one.

He promised to hire "the best people." He fired 3/4 of them and then said they were the worst ever, and they said HE was in fact the worst ever.

He promised to bring down the price of prescription drugs. He didn't: Biden did.

He promised a Hillary lock-up. Nope

Promised we'd win the trade war with China. Nope, It cost about 250,000 jobs and hurt Americans, not help them.

He promised his corporate tax cuts would help and benefit Workers, and corporations would use that money to invest in American workers. They didn't, they used that money to buy back stocks.

He promised to revive the coal industry. Never happened: more coal jobs were lost during his presidency.

It's quite amusing, when people create a detailed reply based on fact, in regard to Trump, they're accused of being obsessed with a man. A bit of a meme these days. One that does not require much analysis, nor thought.

All one sided nonsense. Lots of casinos have gone broke. People were better off under Trump. Proven facts.

The price of groceries increased more than 20% during President Joe Biden’s first three years in office and exceeded wage growth.

The Consumer Price Index for “food at home” rose from 252.7 on Jan. 1, 2021, to 305 in December 2023 — an increase of 20.7%. The index for average hourly wages increased 14.7% — from 29.9 to 34.3.

During the first three years of President Donald Trump’s administration, the grocery index rose from 237 in January 2017 to 243 in December 2019 — an increase of 2.5%.

The wage index increased 9.1% — from 26 in January 2017 to 28.37 in December 2019.

I stopped replying to your posts for a while, and I just forgot. It's much more fascinating to reply to people who give their replies more than 10 seconds of thought.

You keep ignoring the facts though.

Something that very few people, not even the media seems to be interested in talking about, is the probability that Trump started this current inflationary cycle with his nonsensical China tariffs, which were essentially taxes on the American People, and pushed up prices on many products and food.

The other thing that Trump supporters do not like to address, is the fact that we saw historic and generational gouging on the part of greedy corporations and even smaller businesses, during and after covid. This has nothing to do with Biden. But you are quick to blame him.

See reply above. Give it some thought. If you have regard for truth and facts.

All your posts are just subjective nonsense. Impossible to take them seriously. MIT did a study on inflation in 2022 and found over 40% was due to Biden spending. Biden was the worst since Nixon.

How would you know the current state of America under the democrats considering you dont live here? Your opinions about trump are just opinions fed to you by the media.

The media talks about words spoken by Trump or Vance. They obviously don't care about the poverty index or anything that is significant. Vance makes a joke about cat women and the media go mad.

80% of polls are bs. I checked all the major ones going back 8 years. Some of them are wrong by 7 points :cheesy:

I'm curious. Would you say the same thing if your candidate was ahead in the polls?

Truth is non-denominational and non-political.

I do admire you for picking up the guttering torch though when many of your comrades here have decided that silence is the better part of the wisdom. (Admittedly, it doesn't take much to entertain me.)

Most of the polls I looked at where junk in both directions. 80% are junk to the left.

Best economy in 50 years. Democrats have wrecked America.

Weak, but I'll take it as your best effort.

Keep up the good work even though it's largely thankless and underappreciated for its humor!

Thanks for that presumably astute conjecture, but you didn't answer my question.

Do you even live here though? Cost of living is so high now people are either giving up or voting against whos in power now. Nobody cares that orange man is bad anymore

Where is here? FYI I do live somewhere.

Your last line sounds a pretty broad statement and smells a bit like earnest self-talk.

(Side question: do you talk to yourself in the mirror every morning? Asking for a friend.)

I would appreciate some supporting data on that last 'fact', but will take it anyway as your best effort.

I suggest you take a poll of what 'Nobody' thinks about the election and get back to us here. Beware that your comrade considers polls 'garbage '.

You could scroll up a few comments but I can appreciate the time you are devoting to poll studies so read the second line of my comment in the attached photo.Screenshot_20240902_114833_Ghostery.thumb.jpg.9c051f5029db20dfab6f3a2960444edd.jpg

My candidate is not running. Averaging 5 polls it is too close to call.
