Rescue teams responded to a distress call regarding an accident involving a road roller at Village No. 6, Baan Bo Phai, in Sai Thong Subdistrict, Bang Saphan Noi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The incident prompted a swift response from emergency services, including rescue teams equipped with cutting tools, as well as an ambulance and medical personnel from Bang Saphan Noi Hospital.

Upon arriving at the scene, rescue workers discovered an overturned road roller with its driver trapped underneath. The driver was pinned by the vehicle’s steel frame, which had fallen across his hip and right leg. With water and oil leaking from the road roller, rescuers secured the area, ensuring that bystanders were kept at a safe distance.

Initial attempts to extricate the driver were challenging due to the weight of the road roller. Despite efforts to remove the seat and other parts of the vehicle, the driver remained trapped. As a result, a crane from Panya Garage in Bang Saphan Noi was called in to assist. With the crane's help, the driver was successfully freed and taken to hospital.

The driver explained that the accident occurred while he was attempting to load the road roller onto a transport vehicle to relocate it. Unfortunately, the road roller over balanced, rolled off the trailer and overturned, trapping him underneath. Despite the severity of the incident, the driver sustained only minor leg injuries.
