Biden’s Presidency he'll “leave office in disgrace.” by CNN Commentator
Blame the ones that put an IMO gibbering idiot in as the alternative to Trump. The electorate obviously considered a "convicted criminal, a convicted sex offender and a serial liar" a better choice. I hope you get to enjoy the next 4 years as much as I will, though I suspect you won't. -

Worker Injured in LPG Cylinder Cutting Explosion in Samut Prakan
Pictures from responders and CCTV below. Officers from the Samrong Tai Police Station received a report ar approximately 09.30 on January 2, of an LPG gas cylinder explosion at an unregistered scrap shop in Soi Babutek, or Soi Thetsaban Mueang Pu Chao Saming Phrai Soi 2, Samrong Klang Subdistrict, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province. Firefighters and rescue personnel from the Pu Chao Saming Phrai Municipality responded to the scene. Rescuers found Mr. Win Hiut Oo, a 34-year-old Burmese worker, suffering from burns across his body. He was rushed to Samut Prakan Hospital for treatment. Investigators discovered a damaged LPG cylinder with signs that someone had tried to cut off the valve, inside the shop, along with other items and parts of the premises scorched by the fire. Witness Mr. Wanchai Buaput, 47, said he saw flames rising from behind his house and went to investigate after the fire subsided. He found the injured worker with his clothes completely burned off except for his underwear. He explained that the shop owner had instructed workers to remove the valve bolts with a wrench, but one worker instead used a grinder, leading to the explosion. According to Mr. Santi Kusonsong, a firefighter from Pu Chao Saming Phrai Municipality, the grinder’s sparks ignited gas leaking from the cylinder, while the worker was cutting the valve off, causing the fireball that injured him. The shop owner admitted to buying the LPG cylinders to salvage the scrap metal and said he had warned workers to use proper tools and avoid smoking. However, one worker disregarded these instructions and used a grinder, resulting in the explosion. Initial investigations revealed that the scrap shop was operating without a license. Police documented the scene and summoned the shop owner for further questioning at the Samrong Tai Police Station. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident. -- 2025-01-03 ScreenRecording_01-02-2025 18-01-24_1.mp4 -

2025 stock favorites
They may "never" be losers, but depending on the location and other factors, they can both stagnate or even drop in value for years. I'm sure you've seen that. Of course, stocks can do that too, but they sure are easier to dump at a moment's notice. I'm 73, and unless I somehow decide to return to the USA, I don't need a place there to live. I've thought about it, but spending even a few minutes looking at home prices there cures me of that idea. Property taxes can also be a big factor, as can homeowner's insurance. And any house will require maintenance. I'ver been there and done that. I could do it again, but for what reason? So, unless there's a massive real estate crash and I see some real opportunities, I'm probably out of that country for the duration. -

Taliban Enforces Window Ban to Shield Women from Public View
I understand they are actually Afghans that went to Pakistan when the Russians occupied the country and were indoctrinated there. As for the OP, entirely expected given the taliban being what they are, and it's going to get worse for Afghan women IMO. No western country is going to invade again to support them, and the last time showed how wrong the west was to even try. A waste of lives and treasure for nothing. They just gave the women of Afghanistan false hope.
