I think Thailand has enough traffic problems already without encouraging 100's of straw carrying actors and actresses dancing madly in the streets because they managed to finish another crap movie!

I know of one Indian filmcrew near Cha-am.

Indian plates on the Thai motorbikes and a Thai girl dressed up as an Indian girl.

They did some kind of commercial for an Indian product.

Top news......well done Thailand. I been waiting to ogle some of those Bollywood butts. The sky is the limit now and Thailand is way cooler than India.

There are only a few Thai production companies capable of outfitting major productions, A Grand Elephant, Living Films, and Greenlight. Maybe Hub Ho Hin. Oriental Post and Kantana provide meaningful large scale post production facilities. Might be wrong but I think Technicolor closed up operations in Bangkok. Lots of smaller boutique services, especially for animation. But the point is for the scale this article mentions, plus existing commitments, there likely aren't enough in place services ready.

Has there ever been a decent Indian film without singing and dancing? They have produced some great songs and singers, but not great films as far as I know.

Famous indian song from 1967 that Thais nicked and put their own words to and used in 1970 film Monrak Luktung. It's still very often sung at concerts today
