I had a friend that bought books of an author that was on tour in Europe, telling people that aliens would land a short time back and the book was an instruction-manual of how to be able to follow them, if wanted.

Come to think of it, I haven't talked to him in 2 years...coincident?

Lucky they weren't spelling mistake aliens...We would of all been proper f**ked.. :o

That reminds me of the old Twilight Zone episode. The aliens land and start passing out their purpose for being on earth in a book called "To Serve Man". Just as the earthlings are boarding the spaceship, a man rushes up saying he's decoded the book. He shout's "To Serve Man, it'a cookbook, it's a cookbook".

edit: Wow! What can't you find on Wikipedia?

I rented the DVD recently after missing this film for the past 5 years. Sat down with a couple of beer and watched it with the missus, she didn't laugh once.

Yep...can relate to that as well - Thai humor is sometimes 180 deg. out from farang.

John Clese and the Fawelty Tower gang bairly elicited a chuckle from my missus... :o

Ay ... not enough boi oi oi oi ong and drrrmmp noises to ever be considered as funny.
