As can be seen from my country (Russia), under Biden the standard of living in the US has increased. From these elementary considerations alone, one can vote for those under whom the standard of living has increased - no matter who they are called - Democrats, Republicans or whoever else. -

Thanks. I enjoy reading all posts, from everyone. I am always happy to agree to disagree, but when some get nasty, I'm also happy to engage. As I said, I have never reported a post, ever, and never will, and some members take advantage of that admission. Free speech is important. Why shut it down, just because it differs from one's point of view? Websites like this should be viewed as collaboration, rather than "I'm right and you are wrong" which defeats the purpose, and causes conflict. Let's all keep posting with our experience, knowledge, opinions etc, and continue to discuss, rather than taking things personally. Thailand is an unstable country. Anything can happen at any time, even a military coup. The way it is today may not be the way it is tomorrow here. What surprises me is when there is any change, it's hoot the messenger, call it scaremongering, report a post and get it deleted, rather than consider the change may actually be happening and deal with it. I remember one member arguing that cannabis would NEVER be legalized in Thailand, even after it was legalized. Go figure. -

Anyone at smaller offices should check for requirements at that office in-advance. If a big office, with frequent posts here, you are probably ok. They required 3-mo seasoning (not 2) for a marriage-based extension at an office I used in Issan - and I watched her highlight my bank statement balance going back 3 months. -

It is 2 months seasoning is required before the day you "Apply" for the visa, so you are fine. Once they accept it, you have automatic permitted-stay "under consideration," until they give you the final 1 year stamp. -

The injuries were quite interesting. Intended to target the enemy operative, they minimized collateral damage with no fires or significant property damage. According to security sources and footage reviewed by Reuters, some of the detonations took place after the pagers rang, causing the fighter to put their hands on them or bring them up to their faces to check the screen. Reportedly, individuals have injuries to the face, hands (with missing fingers) and hip wounds. In one move, the command and control leadership of a designated international terrorist army and sanctioned group was incapacitated. With these people out of the mix, the ability to control troops in the field is reduced. I don't think Israel did this alone. Supplying pagers to Hezbollah from the EU would have been illegal. Hungary has been a strong ally of Israel for some time, along with Poland. It had to get a sign off or a nod from some important people in Hungary. The Hezbollah or Iranian official who made the deal to purchase the pagers is going to be questioned intensely, if not already executed. The countries which allowed the pagers to transit on their way to Lebanon or Iran would have had to be complicit and I would not be surprised If someone in the Sunni arab world gave a helping hand to get some Shiites. Now if only Israel could use such brilliance to free the few remaining hostages and to finish off the Hamas leadership, the war in Gaza could be brought to a close. -

90-Day Family Visa Extensions - Questions
Your Non Imm O visa is 'USED'. You were stamped with a period of stay of 90 days. Permitted to stay until (date) which is a permit, not a visa. It is this permitted period of stay that you extend. You cannot extend the validity of a visa. If your 400K funds haven't seasoned for the required 2 months, you can apply for a 60 day extension. Within the last 30 days of that 60 days (funds now seasoned) you can apply for the 1 year extension of stay. Extensions based on Thai spouse have to be approved by the regional office. When you submit your application for a 1 year extension you will receive a 30 day under consideration stamp, usually from the date your current permission of stay ends. Once approved, your 1 year extension will be backdated to the date your 60-day extension expired. You cannot be on overstay when an extension is waiting for approval. -
