A violent domestic incident in Phra Saeng District, Surat Thani, has left one man dead and two others seriously injured. On the night of September 15, Mr. Thanakorn, 32, armed with a machete, attacked his former wife’s family at their home, killing his ex brother-in-law and severely injuring his former in-laws.

The deceased, Mr. Suthep, 31, a schoolteacher, suffered seven stab wounds and died at the scene. His parents, Mr. Suphon, 59, and Mrs. Jintana, 62, were also injured in the attack and have been hospitalised with serious wounds. Mr. Thanakorn’s former wife, Ms. Pornsiri, 32, sustained minor injuries while attempting to stop the attack.

The couple had recently been in conflict over the custody of their child, leading to the attack. Authorities are now searching for Mr. Thanakorn, who fled the scene after the attack. An arrest warrant is expected to be issued later today.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud argument before the attack occurred. Neighbor Mr. Sumet, 54, attempted to intervene but was unable to prevent the tragedy. Police are treating the case as a family dispute turned violent.

So, the conflict about child's custody is solved obviously.

Horrible end of a former love.

RIP

I am surprised more don’t act this way after losing the right to see their children.

In Thailand and more so in the West.

Women can be cruel.

The extent of your misogyny is remarkable. A man comes and murders one person and severely injures two others and you somehow blame the wife of this walking POS for being cruel? Do you even comprehend the depths of your hatred? Did Mommy not love you? Poor baby.

Anyone capable of this should certainly not be allowed around their children and there's likely good reasons as to why he was restricted at the time. He just proved it beyond any doubt.

She did I think but she died when I was very young and I have no memory of her. Only photos.

That would also explain it. You need therapy, I hope that you get it for your own sake. Living with hatred of the opposite sex is neither healthy nor responsible.

Sounds to me like you are a feminist.

If by that you mean someone who both likes and respects women and treats them as fellow human beings with equal rights, yes, you're correct. Perhaps you meant something else though? Which aspects of feminism do you find unpleasant?
