Does anyone know - If I bought a chipped PS2 here in Bangkok and took it to England would it play copied games as well as real games ?

cheers

Yes it will work.

Just make sure you buy a 220v PS2. That way you will not need a 110-220v convertor

ALL games / DVDs will work back in the UK just fine.

Also make sure your TV at home is multi-standard (99% are these days)

I would of thought 8500 way too much, was in Bangkok recently and seen them for 6000TB,not sure if there were used or not? But box and packaging did not seem to suggest this? Plantip plaza :o

yer looking @ 10k + for a chipped one with memory card 2 joypads and 10 games :D I think I payed 10.5k :o

DO make sure you get a new one.

I'm on my 2nd PS2 now. They don't seem to last, with some people even suggesting that this is a deliberate ploy on Spny's part to sell more PS2s!
