She is not some iconic idol. She could be forgotten tomorrow just like so many other singers who think they are super popular. In the years to come. She will most likely be replaced by a new face with a better appearance and attitude.

You wish,

Taylor Swift of course also has an image, carefully constructed and burnished, but one altogether more credible, appealing and attractive than Trump.

She also has nicer legs!

But having a Tight End as a boyfriend isn't that good! 555

Posts using derogatory and toxic nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names will be removed. If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly, this applies to both sides of the political debate.

That ignores the massive increase in voter registration......but I guess you will argue that was down to young, stupid, airheads rushing to register to vote for Trump.....oh wait....based on that description you might be correct.

It's probably fair to say Taylor may not have as many fans in 5-10 years. She will no doubt have a rusted on base, just like Trump. I know people who are still fans of the Bee Gees, and Elvis Presley.

Right now, she has considerable influence. IMO Trump would have done much better to keep his mouth shut, but we all know that is Mission Impossible.

Yeah, I can just see 20- somethings burdened with student loans lining up to vote for a 78 yo.

Making the comments will not have caused Taylor's fan base to grow or more Taylor fans to vote for Harris.

His comments brought him publicity, which only can be positive.

Because so few people have heard of him?

Donald Trump's recent outburst declaring "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" is more than just an ill-advised comment;

"We all HATE Trump,
We all HATE Trump,
So let's take a DUMP,
On Donald J. Trump!"  💩

There's no question about the fact that he's already lost this battle, he simply cannot compete with a pop star who has over 200 million followers on her social media accounts.

This man is a thug, he's a lowlife, he's a hater and a divider, he's a dishonest loser, and he's a thief and a liar. On the other hand she is a fairly charming pop star. How does he compete with that? Anyone with half a brain would have refrained from saying all the Indian things that he said about her already the first time in the history of America that a president has posted I hate somebody. Well, Bush Sr. said that about Saddam, but he was an enamy, not an American idol.

The absolutely blazing level of his stupidity, ignorance and lack of political acumen, is sometimes a stunning thing to witness.

If Trump and Vance went home, locked themselves up, and did not say anything, or appear again until the election, they would have a better chance of winning.

The most funny aspect is that Trump has probably boosted Taylor's career over the last months! 🤣

No, that's wrong. Swift's endorsement has cost her significant  support.

"Taylor Swift's reputation may have never been worse, at least with Republicans, new polling finds after the megastar endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

The exclusive DailyMail.com poll conducted by J.L. Partners shows the full extent of the global superstars bad blood with the GOP after weighing in on the 2024 race earlier this month.

It found Swift has become a victim of polarization with 57 percent of Republicans holding a negative view of the 34-year-old global superstar"

'It’s finally happened: Taylor Swift has turned from Miss Americana to The Archer in the political crossfire,' said James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners.

'She is now viewed like many other things in American discourse, from the economy to news networks: through a partisan lens,' he added.

The very young were always going to vote Democrat. They are also notorious about being the least enthuasiastic about actually going to vote.

The key take away from the Swift endorsement is that Harris was doing  much better in the polls BEFORE the endorsement.

Post Swift's endorsement Kamala's numbers are actually worse.

Not when it sounds like the sour whining of an envious old man. OTOH, her calling him a sack of sh!t was spot on.

She's endorsed Harris, voter registrations in her age group ballooned afterwards.

If you can't connect the dots, I can't help you.

Well thank the heavens that polls mean diddly squat.

She probably lost significant market share on the C&W market, but It's not really her style and target market any more.

On top of it, her market is now global, and anyone in the world who regularly watches news has heard about her clash with Trump. Many people abroad didn't even know her name before Trump started to attack her.
