Just promoting the idea of destroying the mosque to build a temple will inflame millions of Muslims all over the world. If it happened it would be a blatant provocation that could not be ignored by the tame regimes that control such as Saudi and Egypt.

It would not signal the "end of the world", but almost certainly the end of israel as it is.

   A 21 day ceasefire would just allow Hezbollah to get new communications devices and to receive more weapons from Iran which would prolong the war .

   Why not get the war over and done with instead of delaying it ?

The situation in Lebanon may be a farce for you but to Israel its a targeted campaign against terrorists. Here was the actual order of events unlike your headlines that you obviously did not bother to read past.

 

Actual chain of events today:

1️⃣ Announcement of ceasefire coming to fruition between Israel and Lebanon.

2️⃣ Hezbollah launches more rockets at Israeli civilians.

3️⃣ Israel retaliates by a targeted air strike to eliminate head of Hezbollah aerial unit in Beirut.

 

Israel airstrike targeted the commander of Hezbollah's drone unit and hit a specific floor of a multi-story building in Beirut's Dahieh

Perhaps netanyahu was running out of excuses for prolonging the Gaza conflict and wanting to put off his day in court a while longer.

Takes two to tango, you need a willing partner to dance or have a war with, as long as you have two sides willing to arm them to the teeth, then let them kill them selves off, both sides are thick as a clay brick, which goes too show you one side is just so dumb they lack the ability to be able to critical think while the other side is in persecution mode and reacts well they both react to a blade of grass moving in the wind..
