AFL Grand Final.

Featured Replies

Hi there, does anybody know how to get the AFL online for free. I've lived in Bangkok and Pattaya for the past 24 years and I've never worked out a way to watch the footy in Thailand without paying. I've also used several VPN's. The paid sites are ok if you want to watch every game per round but in my case I'd be paying for many games I have no intentions of watching. Thanks.

Obviously people aren't interested in anything expect the English Premier League.

Or maybe they aren't freeloaders

Thanks for your positive input, I don't mind paying but just because you pre pay for sporting events given the very ordinary wifi in Thailand it doesn't guarantee decent reception or prevent constant buffering.

Thailand has one of the best and fastest internet in the world, but everything comes at a price of course.

If you only want to pay 1700 per year for an unlimited data sim, you can not expect to have the best speeds

You will get better responses asking at the AFL subforum.

I know a few there get it for free online.

You can always get games on WatchAfl if you don't mind paying.

If you have a VPN, this should work.

Firstly Will 27 thanks for your advice. I tried the above link you sent me and even using 3 different VPN's I couldn't get the AFL.

I can open any CH 7 site but not the AFL. Even CH 9 allows me to watch the NRL and the cricket. Again I can open betting sites, watch horse racing, I can even open The Lott lottery website but not the AFL. You suggested the AFL sub forum, how do I find that?

The best solution right now is to get a VPN that has a server in Australia for one month - then cancel it.

An IPTV service is the best solution going forward - one with sports, movies and TV series.

I've posted you the link to the forum.

Not that it matters now I guess.

It tried it but it still didn't work anyway thanks for the link. In hindsight it didn't really matter as I don't barrack for either side and the game was very one sided and of not must interest unless people barrack for the Lions.

Can a Smart TV Box be used to view sports in Australia including AFL and cricket?
