How can that be, especially as Kamala Harris has not been elected,

YET.

Look I quoted your whole post so you can't accuse me of altering it

happy now ?

Yes Harris has never been elected  Biden was unceremoniously  removed from the race...Trump has a proven record of actually being the president  he did not enact dictatorial powers to end elections, start any wars or end civilisation as we know it.

There is when you change the the whole meaning of my post.

 This was my post.

"AFAIK Kamala Harris is not a convicted felon, a convicted sex offender nor a serial liar as Trump is, and YOU seem to truly believe that Trump would be a better leader of the USA.

I can only feel pity for you."

This was yours.

Meeting world leaders is fine of course. But touring the munitions plant, which just happens to be in a swing state? The Pennsylvania governor joining Zelensky in signing their names on artillery shells?   Come on.   The US and Russia are not at war, nor are the US and Ukraine allies in any legal sense. Why are American politicians signing munitions to be fired at another country?

Sounds like you picked a side. The wrong side. I would definitely say the U.S. and Ukraine are allies. It wasn't a campaign event. The governor and senator there happened to be democrats. This firing at another country GARBAGE again. Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia intentionally targets Ukrainian civilians. Ukraine targets military targets with the highest priority facilities being used in war criminal Putin's genocidal war on Ukraine such as launch sites. It's too bad Biden has tied their hands as much as he has, I'm hoping Harris will be less scared by Putin's bluffs, but at least he's not a fascist pro Putin surrender monkey like Trump.

Here's the snippet you quoted:

"Trump would be a better leader of the USA"

And here's the sentence in full"

"AFAIK Kamala Harris is not a convicted felon, a convicted sex offender nor a serial liar as Trump is, and YOU seem to truly believe that Trump would be a better leader of the USA."

It's dishonest to cut quotes in a way that alters the meaning of how they were used. But then, you're a fan of Alex Jones.

Again I quote the whole of your post in lest being accused of altering meanings in a dishonest way !.

(no I am quoting for brevity.)

Yes Alex Jones has been proven correct time and again..what has that to do with  Trump being a better leader of the USA than Harris/Biden ?

I "truly believe that Trump would be a better leader of the USA"

that Trump has a proven track record of actually being the president  and performing better than Biden  IMHO.

Alex Jones is not being sued by the grieving parents of Sandy Hood because he was allegedly right time after time. He's being sued because for years he claimed that they were actors paid by the government and that the slaughter of their children never happened. And it's clear you don't understand there's a difference between being sued for slander and/or libel in civil court by private citizens, and being prosecuted in criminal court for exercising one's right to free speech in criminal court by the government.

It is NOT compulsory to like or dislike either or both sides.

I detest convicted felons, convicted sex offenders and serial liars, especially when they are all wrapped up in the same person.

I also dislike people who snip posts and change their content meaning completely.

AFAIR the rules on AN state clearly that if you quote anybody's post, then you quote the complete post. It is what most normal posters do.

Nope  not necessary  or required to quote the whole post

just that quoting not change the statement   which I have not done

I have quoted for brevity  and in no way tried to change your comment.

I liked the presser Harris held with Zelenskyy today reaffirming the United States stand against Putin. standing with the democratic nations of the world.I have a strong suspicion that that sentiment is shared by a good many republican lawmakers who out of a concern for political survival are keeping their heads down till trump is flushed.

Agree.

Moron Zelensky looking for ww3. A Victory Plan? Give me a break. This is like going bankrupt.....it starts slowly and then really quickly..... a few more miles in Donbass then a few down to Odessa against a depleted demoralised beaten army, undermanned and outgunned, where all the money goes to senior staff in corruption.

Russia already has four NATO members bordering it, so are you saying that Russia will invade Norway, Finland, Estonia and Latvia next?

The smart money is on Poland next but Russia is very very weak so possibly a smaller nation.anyway doubt full Russia has the strength and I don’t think the people will tolerate a direct confrontation with NATO.

I understand that at a recent high level NATO conference the Finnish representative was asked whether, in the event of a Russian attack, could they (the Finns) take St Petersburg. He said that they estimated it would take about six days, but that the biggest problem would be the Poles getting in the way!

I beg to differ 2 world leaders discussing supporting one another is entirely appropriate. Now trump is bleating for a meeting with a for real leader (no nft required)he’s seeing how we are reacting to his slavish adoration of the enemy (putin) not the people of Russia.

It is a privilege and right for the US Head of State POTUS to meet foreigner leaders and/or their representative ambassadors and does not require congressional approval.

That is true. However, being escorted by a partisan bunch of Democrat politicians through this arms production facility, in the heart of a possible swing state, only a few weeks short  of an election, is not a good look.

Well the people in Poland believe that Russia will likely invade their country. Finland and the Baltic states are equally wary of imminent Russia invasion. It’s only NATO that likely impede Russia ambition.

Likely? Not the same as possible. You can file that in the trash can.

Paranoid much? Nobody that I know is taking about Ukraine being absorbed into Russia. But to end the war, they might have to give up some territory. Otherwise the game isn't worth the cost. Ukraine is not worth one drop of NATO blood.  And keeping them fighting and dying, just to bleed the Russian military, when there is no practical end sccenario is cruel.

He's watched Sly Stallone in Over The Top too many times is all.

I can  only speculate on how Trump figures to end this war but I don't see an expansion of it as is, either. Recent reports from ex NATO senior military officers and advisers indicate that this war has weakened Russia so much (in conventional military power terms) that there seems to be little prospect of her being capable of starting any more "special military operations" against other countries in Europe or elsewhere.

The main threat to Europe, is the use of nuclear weapons, especially if Putin's own top position comes under threat, I think that the Republicans recognize that danger far more clearly than the Democrats do.

I do not believe Trump ever said that.... In fact, he has never specified how he could get the war stopped. But at least he said he would be able to get it stopped

And you believe that orange clown when he spews forth his lies as he has done for many years. He hasn't got a clue, never has had, and never will have and you have only got to look at some of his past comments to know that – – "ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine will cure Covid 19", "Mexico will pay for the wall", "bleach will do a number on the virus (talking about introducing it into the body)", and one other which stands out is when he invited some of the country's top CEOs/leaders to the White House, and the general consensus of opinion by them was, "he hasn't got a clue", "he doesn't know what he's talking about", "he is just plain dumb".

And no need to go into his numerous bankruptcies and the fact that one of the bankruptcies was a casino, probably a first in history. Better get used to the idea that he is as dumb as a bag of rocks.
