The Russians are slowly but surely advancing in the east.

Russian troops have taken complete control of the eastern city of Vuhledar, which Ukrainian forces have been defending since the beginning of Moscow’s full-scale invasion two and a half years ago.

It's a war of attrition. Russia sometimes loses 1000s of troops to capture a village.

Russia hasn't figured out Ukraine's strategy and blunders forward.

The Ukrainians are lucky the Russians are so stupid.

In your opinion and in any event they are the ones advancing and the Ukrainians are retreating.

I suppose you think it was clever to send the best Ukrainian troops to Kursk on a pointless incursion that has failed to advance any further and that is against less than best troops.

In a war of attrition, does the side with more troops and ammunition win or lose? Asking for a friend…

Some Poles seem to have forgotten how 99% of Warsaw was flattered by one of their current allies not so long ago.

Meanwhile, from the same source as your link,

The Russian army has broken through the left flank of the Ukrainian Defense Forces grouping in Kursk Oblast, the analytical project DeepState reported on Oct. 10.

The weak coordination of the Ukrainian forces in Kursk Oblast marks another challenge.

"The Ukrainian grouping in Kursk Oblast is a large 'hodgepodge' with corresponding levels of coordination.

But the funniest comment must be as follows

The vibe of the day, as unfortunate as it sounds, is the disabling of a Defense Forces' tank by an FPV drone from the Defense Forces," DeepState commented.

Ukrainian defence forces destroying their own tanks. Shame they didn’t post the video lol.

All Russian advances are under full control of the opponents. Indeed, NATO has 6x more population (which means 6x more NATO soldiers which can feel love Ukraine to that degree as to get a new Ukrainian passport - Zelensky will be happy for sure), 10x larger economics (which means 10x more drones and other military things) etc etc.
So at any moment of time, the Russian opponents can stop it.
