Agreed! However, many do not understand it´s a luxury in Thailand. They are just so used to having it around, and they also refuse to adopt to the foreign country they move to. For them things like this and much other things, will continue to be a menace until they draw their last breath. It´s a sad reality, but still a reality. Ok, sometimes I buy some of the stuff too, but I don´t complain, as I know they will put whatever price they like on it. I also know, that the government put heavy import license fees, as well as demand good standards to deal with groceries and also charge high import tax on many products in this genre. -

I agree, and frankly the Haitians should not be a priority in any deportations. First, start with people who are out of legal status, those who commit crimes. Then, on to single men and women, etc. But they do need to leave. -

Whist this tragedy is devastating, far more people die in accidents from modified trucks, cars or motorbikes. No one is 'suspending' them. No one is inspecting the batteries in e-vehicles and bikes where they spontaneously catch fire. This particular accident has caught the press's attention and therefore also the public. We are all horrified about what has happened. But deep down, we all know that it will happen again, sometime in the future, regardless of what is done now. THAT is also a tragedy. -

Not a bad idea but you have to realise that Wise is not a bank. Certain risks involved in leaving money with them eventhough they place most funds in other banks that may save you if the company went bankrupt
