True, research is important, but not from a f****** politician.  I would consult my dog before any politician, who are generally know-nothing windbags no matter the country.

If you go to the link you will see that the co-signatories are not "********politicians" but are professors and doctors. Do you think highly qualified people such as the co-signatories are "know-nothing windbags"?

Typing a phrase into the google search engine is not "research", lol.

Indeed. Google like many other platforms is heavily censored hence the need for full independent studies where the results are freely available and are able to be researched and freely discussed without censorship. Choice should be an educated and free choice.

He, and they by extension, are indeed that if only for his misguided and damaging (given his platform) advocacy of ivermectin as a covid treatment.

Straying off topic so I will leave it at that.

Soon to be another hub...

No lock-downs this time please,

Medical experts in Thailand are advising high-risk groups to receive boosters for Covid-19, given a recent surge in cases and fatalities. This push comes in light of new data revealing approximately 700,000 infections and 205 Covid-related deaths in 2023, positioning Thailand as having the highest infection and death rates for Covid-19 in Southeast Asia.

Assoc Prof Dr Piroon Mootsikapun, President of the Infectious Diseases Association of Thailand, highlighted that the current wave of Covid-19 is hitting the nation harder than any other country in the region.

Most concerning are the fatalities in the so-called 608 high-risk group, which includes those aged 60 and older, individuals with chronic health conditions, and pregnant women.

Dr Piroon emphasised the severity of Covid-19 compared to influenza, pointing out that the infection rate and death toll are significantly higher. "Of the Covid-19 fatalities, 80-90% were in the 608 risk group," he noted.

Prof Dr Sasisopin Kiertiburanakul, from the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand, echoed the call for vaccinations, stressing the importance of boosters in preventing severe illness. The current booster shots are reported to offer 60-70% effectiveness in reducing hospitalisations and deaths among the most vulnerable.

Reports of Long Covid, which can affect other organs and significantly impact health post-recovery, were found in 15% of Covid-19 patients. Given this, the boosters gain added importance.

Community advocates, like Tanapol Dokkaew from the Kidney Friends Association of Thailand, are urging the government to ensure a steady supply of vaccines, particularly for high-risk individuals. “Covid-19 is here to stay, so booster shots are crucial, especially for the 608 group,” he commented, urging continued vigilance amidst increasing complacency, reported Bangkok Post.

Ok mate. You believe what your are told by big pharma, CDC etc. and outright dismiss anything that counters your opinion and the narrative. That's your choice. What you've posted here is not classified as disinformation even though you mentioned the I word. If I was to post anything counter to your views that would be and I'm not allowed to. Interesting times indeed.

Don't really know if Ivermectin is useful in treating covid but at least there are no side effects. Unlike the covid jabs.

There is of course the possibility that the person who had the most jabs died from covid.

There is also the possibility that the person who had the most Jabs didn't die from covid.

Possibly they died from stupidity. There's just soooooo much evidence now that not question these jabs is pure foolishness. Of course any research and evidence will not find it's way onto legacy media. Post anything that goes against narrative and the algorithm picks it up. Just using the word censorship will be a red flag on the algorithm. I have a question. Who determines the narrative? Who has said what we can and cannot discuss? What the hell happened to freedom of speech? Why can't people actually think for themselves and be availed ALL information to do so?

Well if we're comparing, I'm having my 6th on Monday, (original and boosters.) along with my annual 'flu vaccination

I'm in UK and at age 69, the NHS recommends seasonal vacs - no reason not to.

Now bring on the conspiracy plonkers - I see we've already had one! 😆

No conspiracy plonker here just a realist. If the NHS says do it, well do it. Do you trust governments and government health depts? Trust big pharma? If so then it's your decision to make.

The population of the earth GREW during covid, boosters are a waste of time in human population growth

Sadly it would seem the population of stupid people grew also. This of course is in reference to the complete lack of critical thinking and the complete intake of the legacy media as the TRUTH by many people, some of which are very evident on this forum. Free speech, however, is something that didn't grow. The complete opposite was and still is the case.

Very well said than man ( err hedgehog of non binary distinction) 👍   fortunately though quite a few of the previously asleep (stupid) people  woke up and started asking questions  some went back to sleep  others continue the questioning as well they should and lets hope the awaking continues.

6 and thinking about getting the booster. Never had problems with the vaccine. Right wing people see a conspiracy in everything. Trump soiling himself during his last event was caused by Jewish space guns, right?

I'm not recovered from the horror of the last COVID vaccine I had. I'll never have another one.

Again my sympathies  and thank you for speaking up.

Even now after all that has been revealed

the overwhelming gaslighting and derision of those injured still continues its quite horrendous.
