Another tripping RCCB
You and a lot of Thai “electricians” the principle of an RCBO is that the same current must flow through the line and neutral conductors many Thai electricians will disregard having a single pair of wires for a single circuit that is supposed to be protected by an RCBO and use any neutral or borrowing it from a different circuit. This means that the RCBO will either trip instantaneously or trip at random intervals. Finding and eliminating borrowed neutrals is a time consuming job and took a genuine election almost a complete day as our house had been originally wired up by a typical electrical fitter who had any neutral around. -

What happen to the insurance when selling the car
I recently tried to inform DirectAsia via their call centre that my car had gone to a new owner and ask how to proceed with the name change. This was an unnamed driver policy and I was happy for it to go with the car, about 6 months left. Answer was that they didn't want anything, didn't need to know and wouldn't be changing the name. -

Window Seat for Sleeping.
I haven't flown since before Covid but I understand that since airlines have begun charging higher prices for seats deemed desirable, they have become much stricter about not allowing passengers who haven't paid the premium rate to occupy them. There's been any number of YT videos of angry passengers arguing with FAs about not being allowed to change to a better seat. -

Transfer ownership of bike from another province
Power of attorney needed without the seller, I used just one copy of docs, it was enough. Farang sellers in Phuket don't need certificate of residence, only buyers. I once transfered a bike to my name from a farang friend who left the country a week before, they noticed his visa expired a few days before I was in DLT Phuket, they picked on that, called the manger, he came and said where is he, I said left already, he said it's okay because it's only a few days....! Not sure if it was a month or more if it was a problem or not..., different offices different rules though... -

Obviously my ad is on marketplace, and they have a FB account, otherwise they would not be able to send me the first message. So why want to switch to Line if they can ask the same questions in messenger? BTW, the first one who asked, I complied and sent message on Line. She read the message and never replied -

FB Marketplace
Its the main form of communication amongst Thai's... Whereas in many other places the communication is via WhatsApp.... (i.e. for Hotels in Europe etc... Car rentals in Japan etc) So, I wouldn't think too much into people wanting to communicate in Line - its just the preferred way here. -
