A dramatic incident unfolded in Nakhon Ratchasima when a gas cylinder caught fire at a restaurant near a renowned university. Firefighters quickly intervened, preventing an explosion and containing the blaze before it could spread.

Firefighters were alerted to a fire at a restaurant in front of Rajamangala University of Technology Isaan. Responding to the call promptly, they arrived on the scene with fire engines and a team of firefighters.

Upon reaching the location, the firefighters discovered that the fire originated from three cooking gas cylinders. They immediately began dousing the flames with water to control the blaze. Subsequently, the firefighters removed the gas cylinders from the premises and continued to spray them with water to prevent any potential explosions, reported KhaoSod.

The quick response from the firefighters, who arrived within five minutes of being notified, played a crucial role in limiting the damage. The fire did not spread to the surrounding areas, preventing what could have been a much larger and more devastating incident. The damage was minor, largely thanks to a vigilant bystander who witnessed the event and promptly reported it to the nearby fire station.

A good turn-out.

A fire extinguisher located at the restaurant might have been quicker.

Safety first Thailand.
