A person testifying under oath is allowed to recount any experience they have relevant to the investigation and prosecution. Should that person utter hearsay evidence during their testimony it is up to the opposing legal party to object on the basis that it is hearsay. Even if upheld by the Judge then only that hearsay part of the witness' testimony is classified as inadmissible; it does not taint all other testimony given. When a witness/accused lies under oath it does not automatically prove that all other testimony is a lie but is a fact that can be relied upon by the opposing legal team to reduce the value of all other evidence given as it can no longer be trusted. Hearsay evidence does not devalue all other testimony given. -

UPDATE: US Investigates Leak of Classified Intel on Israel’s Plans to Strike Iran The U.S. government is investigating a significant leak of highly classified intelligence regarding Israel's planned retaliation against Iran, according to three sources familiar with the situation. One of the sources confirmed the authenticity of the documents involved. The leak has raised serious concerns within the U.S. government. "The leak is deeply concerning," a U.S. official told CNN. The documents, which are dated October 15 and 16, began circulating online last Friday after being posted on a Telegram channel called “Middle East Spectator.” Marked as top secret, these documents were intended to be viewed only by the U.S. and its “Five Eyes” intelligence-sharing allies—Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The documents outline apparent Israeli preparations for a military strike against Iran. One of the leaked reports, attributed to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, discusses the movement of munitions by Israel. Another document, sourced to the National Security Agency, details Israeli air force exercises involving air-to-surface missiles, which are believed to be in preparation for a strike on Iran. CNN has chosen not to quote or display the documents directly. A U.S. official has confirmed that the investigation is now focused on identifying who had access to the alleged Pentagon document. Mulroy emphasized that the leak could have far-reaching implications for U.S.-Israeli cooperation. “The future coordination between the U.S. and Israel could be challenged as well. 'No-one left behind' I see that the streets and drainways will not be cleared by Monday, as scheduled. I see homes and businesses still choked with mud and floodwater. I see some homes being offered up to three fluro light fittings for self installation. No rewiring. I am being told that relief funds have been selectively distributed, despite the fact that flood water and mud levels did not discriminate between adjacent homes, businesses and streets. I see residents, still in shock, being told by head villager and government officials that no further applications for ฿74m relief funding is available. -
