Robert Jenrick Calls for Whole Life Sentences for Grooming Gangs

Should "Ethnic Minority" be Replaced with "Global Majority"?
Wrong. You mean there's only two colors, white and non-white. Bu when it comes to culture pretty much every nation on this planet has its own culture. Take the white population of France and Germany for example, both white, but very different culture.... -

Woman Admits to Assault After Throwing Milkshake at Nigel Farage During Election Campaign
The judge is responsible for the unusually harsh sentence for a man who held a placard and shouted his frustration about what is happening to the UK. The CPS is responsible for refusing to charge the thugs who broke the nose of the female police officer at Manchester Airport. The fact you celebrate and gloat about such authoritarian, draconian and unfair sentences that led to this grandfather with no previous convictions taking his own life in prison does not make you responsible for it, but it does say a lot about you. As does your silence on the fact that the guy who hurled a cement rock at Farage spent not a single day in jail. Trying to pin the blame on some un-named/imaginary group that motivated him to join a protest to show his frustration about illegal immigration is also pretty lame. He had a legitimate grievance and was entitled to protest/shout about it without being locked up for almost 3 years. -

DTV in Vientiane - Success - My Story
Here's my detailed experience about my successfull DTV application in Vientiane. I've made an appointment online on the official website of the Thailand Embassy of Vientiane. It took a few minutes only, and I was able to book an appointment on the 11th of October. On the 11th of October, I brought with me all my documents and forms filled up in advance (I've got a printer at home which helps a lot, if you don't have one, there's a print shop in front of the Embassy on the other side of the street). I arrived at the embassy 30 minutes before opening hours (roughly at 8.30 AM). There were only about 5 people in front of me. The place was very empty. There's first of all, a young person sitting at a table outside who pre-checks all your documents. After that, he gives you a ticket and you need to proceed further to the actual counter where one person, quite thoroughly, re-check all your documents. I chose the Workcation route as I work online as a Freelancer. Here's what I provided : - Complete filled form (you can download it here : https://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/en/page/visa-application-form?menu=65cae4d9733c85527866bb13 - Passport - 2 Pictures - Copy of my Passport's first page (with my signature) - Copy of my latest entry stamp for Thailand (with my signature) - Copy of my latest out of the country stamp from Thailand (with my signature) - Copy of entry stamp into Laos (with my signature) - Copy of my VISA for Laos (with my signature) - Detailed CV - Portfolio of past and current projects I work on. - Motivation Letter addressed to the Embassy explaining what my job is all about, my past experience in the last 10 years, and why I'd like to be based in Thailand (I think they quite liked that) - Two employment contracts (with company stamp) from my biggest clients which give me a regular income (seemed very important) - Lease agreement in Thailand which runs till summer next year (seemed to be important to the employee there) - Bank Statement (savings account) showing no less than 500K in the last 6 months. (The employee checked every single page and day balance) (Thai Bank Account) - Bank Statement from another account (Outside of Thailand) showing regular income from various clients in the last 6 months (regular income included and matched the name of the companies I work with and which I have a contract for) At some point, the employee at the counter asked me for a payslip (that I couldn't provide). I told him that I didn't have one but that he could check my proof of regular income on the second bank statement from the last 6 months, as the names of the companies providing the salary match with the contracts I provided. He said "Ok, I know" and asked me to pay the fee in Baht in cash (10k). And that's it ! I was quite nervous for the next five days but went back to the embassy the following Wednesday (almost empty Embassy again) and to my greatest delight picked up my passport with my DTV printed in it. Flew back to Thailand 2 days later and received my first 180 days stamp. I hope my experience helps many here. Life is good. Good luck ! Cheers -

Trump's policies would jeopardize Social Security, report finds.
The report says there's a problem anyway. A 3-year delay won't make much difference. Needs sorting before then, whatever. More money printing I suppose. -

Yeah, it did and is continuining to do so. Old folks will be thrown off of Medicare should the convicted felon slither back in. https://www.protectourcare.org/59-years-later-medicare-and-medicaid-are-under-attack-as-republicans-wage-war-on-health-care/ This is a legitimate, SCIENCE based website, so MAGA minions will most likely ignore. https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/?s=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.protectourcare.org%2F- 1

WrLife still ok?
That's the one that is regulated on Nevis. There is probably name errors in many of the documents, gobbledygook seems to be a consistent theme. Insurer: insurance company or captive or compartment of captive or protected cell of captive Who are you going to sue? and where? The best class action lawsuit would be in France and against Patrick Lorentz personally. You would have to prove he was a bad actor. -

Thailand’s smog showdown: Clearing the air with a bold 30% cut
This is where people get it a bit wrong. It ain't all about the burning. Sure burning adds fuel to the fire so to speak but this is BKK and it's surrounds today without the annual burning season. https://aqicn.org/station/@421450/#/z/10 -

Robert Jenrick Calls for Whole Life Sentences for Grooming Gangs
I’ve already linked the actual sentencing guidelines for this crime, as set by the last Government in 2022. That’s what the sentencing is and should be. If it needs changing Parliament can do. Maybe Jenrick could raise a Private Member’s bill to plug his failure to address this when in Government. -

Microsoft patches TPM 2.0 bypass to prevent Windows 11 installs on PCs with unsupported CPU
Nobody's looking for a Rufus script. The fact that one is needed verifies that M'soft has tightened things up. I ran across a "failed 24H2" thread in which the Rufus developer jumped in and showed concern. So I figured he'd see if he couldn't come up w/ another workaround, as implied in my post. So he did. I see on today's freeware lists that 4.6 is out, so I looked at the changelog: Version 4.6 (2024.10.21) Add a new setup.exe wrapper to bypass Windows 11 24H2 in-place upgrade restrictions Add TimeZone to regional options replication Set local account passwords to not expire by default Fix an error when trying to write compressed VHD images Fix an error when invoking Rufus from the PowerShell commandline Improve revoked UEFI bootloaders check to support Linux SBAT, Windows SVN and cert DBX Improve support for ReactOS boot media Which sounds good. We'll see how it goes down w/ the vast numbers of Win users w/ older hardware. -
